  • My cat brought me the head of a stuffed animal once. I had no clue where she got it.
  • One of our cats (she was young) came walking into the livingroom with a pair of my wife's undies on her head. My wife left her drawer open, the cat must have climbed in and burrowed around. But her little head was in one leg hole and the waistband was around her body.
  • I had a peke about 26 years ago that thought the best place to bury bones was under my parent's pillows! Needles to say, they were NOT thrilled. She also had this thing with shoe laces. She would pull on them until she undid the knot, then she would leave them alone. My dog Xam will not allow any of his human pack members to wear any type of adhesive bandage. He will pick at it with his teeth and pull it off. He likes to wrestle my feet, but when I take my shoe off he'll stop immediately.
  • She's doing it again. My cat loves Autumn...4 leaves so far today...lol :)

  • My cat has three strange behaviors. He sits in the bathroom and has to be able to peek around the shower curtain while I am showering or he has a fit, as if he thinks the water is hurting me. He refuses to drink anythink but running water, so we leave the bathroom tap on really low. And he has a habit of burying my husbands dirty socks in the cat box.
  • wev got 3 kittens, they are all crazy.. socks undies all get dragged round the house but the latest thing was toilet paper, bought a roll up into the lounge!
  • Presently am catless, but I used to have a cat that would leap into the dryer everytime I opened the door. She would hear the machine and sit by the door and wait for me to go in and come bounding in as soon I opened it. She would also sit on my shoulder as I walked around the house, like she was a pirate's parrot. Never brought me anything to bizarre though she loved to catch moths and walk around with them still flapping.
  • One of my cats brings me a white marble. He likes playing with them.
  • I opened my back door one day last summer to find a massive rat - minus head, my cat must have had a munch Eewwww!
  • My cat is the outdoors type and hence brings me the proud objects from that arena including possum, squirels, birds, fish, snakes, fogs, gekos, etc. She loves bringing my half live prizes. I tell her what good girl she is and then I sweep it up when she is not looking. I don't want to hurt her feelings. While she is in the house she wants to be on my lap being petted. So far she has not done anything with household items. She does like to play with cords and wires especially around the office. And when it is raining she either hides or runs around the house like her butt is on fire (don't know what that is all about). My other cat (passed away) brought me my existing cat. It was a black kitten that no one wanted so my cat brought it home to me. When no one claimed it, I kept it.

  • my dog just gives me anything.. he wakes me up in the middle of the night with a video game in his mouth. he once gave me a cookie that was kind of under my bed.
  • My underwear was presented to me by my oldest cat when she was about 6 months old. Believe it or not, she was "wearing" it around her neck.
  • My cat generally just steals:) Don't leave your keys laying around! When DS had braces and a jaw expander, we had a key to tighten the expander twice a day, and the cat LOVED that tool. We had to hide it, and even worse we had to make sure the cat wasn't there when we hid it, or he would just go get it later, out of a drawer, cabinet, whatever. He steals pens and pencils and puts them under the rug, the kids legos, etc. It has gotten easier now that he has designated specific hiding places, so we know where to look for missing items. He also loves plastic, so if I through away a bag, he frequently gets it out of the trash and hides that as well.
  • I think one of the weirdest presents I've ever gotten was from my old cat. He passed away. But anyway, one day, as I was going to lay on my bed, there it was. A dead mouse. With my cat's name on it. ... My puppy, however, likes to bring my current cat's poopoo from his litter box. ><

  • i use to have a little black poodle who liked to wonder around in the wooded lot next door, he would kill wood roaches and bring them and place them in my mom's house shoes and sometimes her purse if she left it open. many a times she would wake up and slip her house slippers on only to cram a nasty roach between her toes. i thought it was funny but she wasn't too amused.
  • Our next door neighbour's dog once bought home a stainless steel bowl full of sausages.
  • I once had a cat who used to steal things from their neighbours. He once brought home a large flour sieve that was almost as big as he was. But his favourite trick was to steal washing off next door's washing line, and pull the items through a hole in the fence. I once saw him pull through a large male sweater. I was constantly re-washing their things and taking them back.

  • It's been an absolute treat reading and laughing at most of the cat stories. Thank you for asking this question. My cat would come and go through a cat door and one night a thump woke me from a dead sleep. Kid Dee brought me a bird through the cat door that was still alive and now flying around my bedroom in the dark. Scary at the time but now I laugh hysterically about it!

  • You must praise her and tell her what a wonderful kitty she is! One of my cats when he was young somehow got one of those fuzzy paint rollers (clean) and brought it upstairs to play with. It was as big as he was. Another one of my cats when he was younger would play fetch first thing in the morning while I was still in bed - and many times during the night. One morning he brought me the paper towel roll with one towel left on it and wanted to play fetch with that. Adorable!
  • My female cat Cheri ran around the house waving my bright red thong at my roommates.
  • One of our cats Jenny, in her younger years, would be over the moon if she found a large industrial size rubberband, or empty BigBen meat pie packets (which we never ate). She'd bring them into the kitchen from goodness knows where and meow her little heart out until I made a huge fuss praising her. One of our neighbours had a cat who stole socks and brought them home. They had over 20 socks at one stage - we only live in a small street, so someone must have been missing them LoL.
  • 85% or so of a live Geco. To bad it wasn't the Gico one. The newer cat likes to play fetch with a fake mouse. And if the rabbit foot on a pole is in the house, he'll bring it over, shake it then drop it and look at you.
  • Our girl cat Isis is a sock hunter as well. She grabs them, drowns them in the water bowl and ten brings them to us. It's really kinda gross having a wet sock dropped on you in the middle of the night.

  • Well I have two ferrets so the stealing is pretty much up in the air. If they can take it, its taken. Hairbrushes are the favorite, but shoes are becoming popular. As for bringing...once my cat brought me a baby bunny. She was outside, came in through her cat door, I was in my room an she started pawing the door, I opened it not noticing and was ignoring her. But she kept bugging me and finally laid a baby bunny in my lap. She didn't hurt it or anything. She just gave it to me, then cleaned it and nestled up next too it...very strange. Never seen an animal do that before and I have never seen it again. Also we had another cat who brought us dead snakes, and live crawdads pinched onto his face. Ha ha..we have some super funny pictures of him catching them and picking them up and them latching on. Crazy animals.
