yes. and i often convince myself of things that aren't true (no, not so much that the sky is red, but that maybe someone isn't into me for me, but to get in my pants.) it is a self-fulfilling prophecy and i am finding it very hard to unlearn. most people don't have the patience for it, and it gets tiring to reassure me all the time.... if only they could imagine how hard it is for ME.
