No, I just accept that it exists.
-
Only visited once and loved it. Not sure about the leader, though!
-
I love the U.S., it's my home. I hate the path the government has taken over the last decade.
-
No ...
-
I love the United States.
-
I love our country. Those that don't should try to find a better country to live in. Good luck.
-
It is where I was born. It is where I grew up, got my college education, etc. It is what I went to defend when the opportunity arose. It is where my children and grandchildren live. It is what I would defend again if given the opportunity. Do I love or hate it? You tell me!
-
I love the U.S., despite it's faults I wouldn't live anywhere else.
-
Love the country, hate it's way of life.
-
America is a lovely place to visit, although I would never live there. There is no culture, only plastic everywhere you look, from one end of the country to the other it is identical, McDonald's, Wal-Mart, IHOP.
-
Neither. But I do love many Americans, though I despise the American government and military.
-
I don't much like the government, but I love my country and the principles it was founded on and I would die to protect it if it came to that.
-
Of course love the United States!!!
-
I love my home! ♥
-
I hate the direction our government has gone and I don't agree with George Bush. But I love it for the simple fact that people fought for my right to type that first statement.
-
I have a personal love/dislike relationship with the US. Born, raised and served for the US. I like a lot of the freedoms we have, but dislike several things.
-
I hate seeing how this country is perceived and the government we helped put into office is responsible for a good chunk of it. The thing is that I would not want to live anyplace else.
-
You may have heard this before..."Love it or leave it!". Of course you can still live here and hate it. Your choice, it's a "free" country.
-
I love the United States. I have many relatives in California, in San Jose, San Francisco, and Fremont. I have been there quite a few times. Some people may say Americans are arrogant and racist, but I have never found that to be the case. In many ways, a lot of Americans are very down-to-earth and "race friendly", especially in California. And you can't beat the weather there. In Canada, you work hard for every penny but they tax you like crazy. Also, there are too many rules and regulations here-----get this: you need a license to have a garage sale, and if you own a cat, you need a license for that too! Sigh! Americans also seem to have and enjoy more holidays than we do.
-
I think it's a nice place to visit but not nice enough to live in (at least for me). The US as a place is great to visit, but I don't like the path its government is taking.

Born in the USA, grew up here, served in its military, as did my dad, uncles, grandfather, great uncles, great grandfather. Ancestors fought with G. Washington and even Andy Jackson,.. some with U.S. Grant, and, yes, some with R.E. Lee, at the same time,..very sad, but sadness is a part of love. I have been in nearly every single state at one time. I know its history inside and out. Love it? You bet I love it. Politicians and administrations come and go. We, the people, do our best to elect the best leaders at any given time. Sometimes we are betrayed and sometimes we are just dumb. But, at least we have the power to do it ourselves and really have nothing to blame but ourselves. We also have the power to correct our mistakes. It would also be 'nice' if we were admired by the "world" all the time. But seeking the admiration of the world is NOT one of the designated jobs of any elected U.S. official....It had better not be!
-
I love it.

I live in the United States only because I am unable to leave. I grew up proud to be an American, proud of my country, proud of my government, and a love of our justice system. Now as an adult I have realized that our country is controlled by fear, our government and justice system is corrupt and cowardly people who know our country is in a terrible situation won't use their constitutional rights to abolish our government and do a better job. So... I don't love the United States... at all.
-
I love it here yo...
-
No : ) Ah, I don't really have an opinion. It's a country. That I've never been to. So I'm not really in any position to love or hate it.
-
its alright. i wish Wisconsin was a bit more prep, i mean, gosh, cows everywhere. how boring
-
Love it :)

I love it.

I love the States because it was my home for 33 years and it is where family and friends live. There is so much natural beauty everywhere, from mountains to beaches, from forests to dessert. I do feel like there could be improvements... when I moved to Europe I realized just how separated from the world I was as an American. You really have to search for world news, because the TV news doesn't give you more than "Around the world in 80 seconds". And I never liked the cookie cutter chain stores and restaurants that pop up in every town in the country. The US has a ton of positive points, and a few negatives. It's just where I don't choose to call home. (I will, however, continue to keep my US citizenship. Mainly because it makes it easier to travel back and forth).
-
Neither..neutral Think they are falling apart and better get someone in to office quick
-
love it.
-
Freeluncher, you really should try to get your facts straight. For example, there weren't anywhere NEAR "one million" Iraqis killed, and certainly not by the US military. The war in Iraq was not over oil. If it had been, where is the oil now? The war in Iraq was over creating a democracy in the Middle East. Whether that actually succeeds or not remains to be seen.
-
No, not at all.
-
No, I love it! it's my homeland...
