• Perhaps its because of your perception of what being 30 means??? I have to tell you that my 30's have been far better (so far) than my 20's - you have a lot to look forward to!
  • Because you're still in the state of denial. It was a shock when I first reached that mark but you get used to it after a while.
  • 30 was a big one. But, I learned that I am actually better now than I ever was at 20. It might take you a little while to learn 30's benefits, but they are there.
  • Why worry about something that happened long long
  • I have no idea. My thirties have been the best years of my adult life, so far. If you buy into the pop culture idea that only the young can be beautiful and have fun, then you're going to get more depressed each year. I don't believe in that. I think I get more attractive as I get older, and enjoy my life more because of my ability to handle things as they come. I say quit worrying about a number, and just enjoy your life!
  • wait until you're 50, then you wish you were 30 again.
  • I don't know why you can't get over it. But the sooner you get over it the better.
  • You will, as soon as you hit 31 yo...
  • You will get over it. Consider the alternative.
  • 30 really didn't bother me, I've enjoyed it more then my 20's but pushing 40 scares me more then 30. Just try not to think about 30 being 1/2 of 60 & it won't be so bad. But I personally don't really view aging like I use to, I don't feel your getting old until your ready to lay down & give up for good. Its really just a number anymore.
  • Because twenty something sounds better than thirty any day. But tomorrow you will not look any older or feel any's just a number.
  • 30 is no big deal, you can still have lots of fun in your 30s. Enjoy it while you can, 40 isn`t all that far away.
  • Wait till your 31.
  • If you think 30 is bad, you're going to have a hellofa time with 40, 50 and 60! You will reach that age when you have lived longer than you have left to live! That's a REAL kick in the pants. Seriously, I think once you pass 21, going on to each new decade represents a milestone in your life. It's much more of a shock to the system than the 9 years in between. But remember, it's only a number--you are as old as you feel, and as you get older, you really can get wiser and enjoy life more. Good Luck--and belated Happy Birthday!
  • Probably because you haven't hit 40 yet, that is when the real fun begins.
  • I feel the same way, I know that day going to come, which is only in a week, I'm not liking the idea that I'm not going to be in the 20's anymore.
  • because you don't want to get old
  • You will. 30 was last year for me... and I'm healthier than ever! :D I made a pact with myself to run more and eat better, and here I am a year later and 15 lbs lighter ;)
