How to describe my scent? According to my 4 year old "yummy". Which, coincidentally is what his father says also. I'd say warm, subtly sweet, with a touch of floral--but very mild (you have to get close to smell me). It's a mix of 'me' and my perfume. My perfume's official description from the manufacturer: A luxurious, flowery fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of red rose, violet, jasmine, lily of the valley, and orchid. Accompanied by a touch of honey. It is recommended for romantic wear.

Are we talking "with the nose" or personal hygiene here? I have a great sense of smell..Jim does not. As for personal hygience, you'd have to ask someone else. It is not so easy to know what odors your body emanates..that's better left for others to judge! :)

1) In which sense? "to smell (third-person singular simple present smells, present participle smelling, simple past and past participle smelled or smelt) 1. (transitive) To sense a smell or smells. I can smell fresh bread. Smell the milk and tell me whether it's gone off. 2. (transitive, followed by like or of) To have the smell (of). His feet smell of cheese. The bum smelt like a brewery. 3. (intransitive) To have a particular smell, whether good or bad. The roses smell lovely." Source and further information: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/smell#Verb 2) As for the first meaning, just like most vertebrates, my sense of olfaction uses specialized sensory cells of my nasal cavity: "Olfaction (also known as olfactics or smell) refers to the sense of smell. This sense is mediated by specialized sensory cells of the nasal cavity of vertebrates, and, by analogy, sensory cells of the antennae of invertebrates. For air-breathing animals, the olfactory system detects volatile or, in the case of the accessory olfactory system, fluid-phase chemicals. For water-dwelling organisms, e.g., fish or crustaceans, the chemicals are present in the surrounding aqueous medium. Olfaction, along with taste, is a form of chemoreception. The chemicals themselves which activate the olfactory system, generally at very low concentrations, are called odors." Source and further information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olfaction 3) As far as my body odor is concerned, I manage to keep it in an acceptable range when among other people. I use soap, tooth paste and other cleaning products, but rarely perfume or freshener. As I don't smoke, I don't smell like tobacco either.
