How Do you specify that a field in access can contain only alpha characters and no numbers? The "text" data type still allows numbers to be entered.

Open the appropriate table in Design View. Select the field. Click the General tab of the Field Properties. In the Input Mask property Type L???????????????? Each question mark is a wild-card for a letter, so make sure there are enough of them to allow the longest text that is likely to be entered.
