What US States do you think should have different cities as their capitol?

Well, I believe the largest city should be the capital. So, New York and California are the two that spring straight to mind. But I am sure there are prob more.

I think that the Nevada capitol should move from Carson City to the Las Vegas area; Alaska should move it from Juneau to Anchorage and Jefferson City in Missouri to St. Louis. I just think the major population centers should have access to state government easier.

Florida's capital is Tallahassee but I think it should be Pensacola.

All states could benefit from higher degrees of better organized citizen participation via electronic means, but that likely would not necessitate changing a physical capitol city from one city to another. Physical locations with real people will remain necessary to improve the integrity of governmental processes.

Oregon should be Portland. Washington should be Seattle. Missouri should be St. Louis. Wyoming should be Cheyenne. Californis should be Los Angeles. Texas should be Dallas. New Mexico should be Albuquerque. ...and Florida should be HAVANA !!!

Always thought that they should rename Montpelier, Vermont. With a name like that, it's no wonder the rest of the country seems to think you're all pretentious exclusionists. Nothing personal, of course.

Only Alaska because Juneau just doesn't have much to do with the rest of the state. PLus it's so hard to get there for most of the population. You can't drive there, you have to rely on ferries.
