Yes and a tricky one at that, it was a commonlaw marriage so he had no idea we were even married until he was served divorce papers! I wish I could have seen the look in his face. So even though we never exchnaged ring or vows or any of that I was granted a divorce!

Yes and it was the best thing that ever happened to BOTH of us. My ex husband was a great person but he was not the best husband-for me. He is happily married now to woman that is a better emotional and personality fit. We are both happy for eachother and are grateful for what we learned while we were married because that was what had opened doors for the people that "truly" make us happy. There isn't anything that either of us would do for eachother in times of need. To get where we are now we had/have to be apart. We are great without eachother-how strange is that?
-
Yes in 1973. It was awful.

Not only did I go thru a divorce but, boy, did it ever go thru me!

Yes, and while at the time I thought it was going to be the worst thing I ever went through, it actually turned out to be the best. It tends to teach you that you can handle pain and still be okay. Most important for me, it taught me that I could rely on myself to make it through life. That was the single greatest lesson I have ever learned.
-
Yes, my parents got divorced when I was 9 an 10 years old.
