Nope. I don't speak unless spoken to and even then I only answer with brevity.
-
With a stranger? No. Unless we are both going for an Interview or something similar. Then I would, as it is always useful to know your opponent ^_^
-
Sometimes, but I almost always smile and nod as a way of saying hi.
-
Only if we establish eye contact.
-
usually it just me i a confident person so will speak to anyone.
-
No I usually just smile at them and then turn around to face the door.
-
Sure!
-
Usually. It seems most of the time there's a lot of small talk in elevators.
-
Sometimes to break the ice. People on the whole don't feel comfortable with silence and I can't keep my mouth shut. lol
-
nope.
-
No but I do smile at them.
-
That is very dangerous for a woman to do that if an unknown male is alone with you. Proven fact, women who are friendly out of being just nice make themselves targets and are the ones who usually get raped. The nasty bitches do not again this is a fact. Being nice in certain situations makes you the prey of the predator.
-
I have and I would again.
-
When I get in I smile and make eye contact so I don't appear hostile, but I don't tend to speak unless spoken to. x
-
I give a nod and hope they want silence too.
-
Maybe sometimes i do but then i look away really fast.
-
I usually say hi or something to that effect.
-
Nervously not enjoy the silence and hope the person doesn't talk either.
-
if they look friendly i do
-
If they say something, I will... Otherwise, I will probably just nod to them.
-
I smile politely and then listen to the elevator music. If I feel like weirding them out a bit, I'll sing along.
-
I usually smile and say 'hi', I don't intitate further conversation but if they do, I certainly oblige.
-
I try to talk to them if they seem friendly ...else just greet and leave :-) !
-
Hug and kiss...just kidding. I do nothing "just smile", but if they talk i answer :)
-
i smile and get eye contact if it is available. then i just enjoy the silence.
-
Unless they talk to me, I dont talk to them..
-
Meh, depends on my mood. Sometimes I'll talk to whoever is near me. Other times, I'll just smile and nod hello.
-
im not aloud to talk to strangers. Stranger Danger!
-
I nener talk to them unless the elevator doesn't move.
-
Complete silence, even though it's awkward and uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that I'm afraid I'll accidentally let out a fart. Ahhh...
-
Depends on the person or my mood. I often talk to them and they do likewise. I'm not unapproachable and usually wear a smile so I think that just makes meeting new people easier.
-
I can't remember the last time I was in an elevator. Small town person. But I suppose I would talk.
-
hmmm...i'm pretty shy, so i'll say if they initiate it i'll talk...otherwise i usually just can't wait to get out of there cuz it's sooo akward!lol
-
enjoy the silence... the ROAR would come later on...;-)
-
I would probably just smile But if they talked i would just nod and shake my head lol
-
I just think like Bruce Willis, and look around, and try to figure out how to get out of that thing, if the (bleep) hits the fan... :)
-
Enjoy the silence. It's too noisy out there already, and I don't need anymore in the way of "talk".
-
I'll try to take stairs at all cost. However, if I ever HAVE to use an elevator, will try to ride solo. If someone is in there, I believe we could go 20 seconds without trying to get to know each other.
-
I'm always willing to have a friendly exchange!
-
Sometimes I talk to them, sometimes I just look at the ceiling. It depends upon what's on my mind, I suppose. : )
-
I always 'pipe up' yo...
-
Depends on my mood, but most of the time I'll say something. :)
-
I do not speak unless spoken to. Too many weirdos out there.
-

-
No not if they have their arms folded in front of their chest
-
