  • because the islam is the true religion.
  • Turks had become Muslims before they have started to living Turkey. When they were living in their homeland at Central Asia, Turks were believing in "Sky God" and practising shamanistic ceremonies. They established trade-religious-cultural relations with Arabs in 10th century after they have migrated from their home country. That is when Turks become Muslims. In the 11th century, some Turks entered Anatolia which was a Byzantine territory. At that time Greek speaking Christians and some Jews were living in those lands. Turks replaced Byzantine officials with Turkish-Muslim ruling elite. They have intermingled with the local people and that is how by time the number of Turkish speaking Muslim population increased in Anatolia and the lands came to be known as Turkey.
  • I think maybe the lineages of Shem, Ham and Japeth, Noah's sons, and the lineages or scatterings of Abraham's descendants,Jacob's sons..will tell how this began better....Ishmael was not of the 12 tribes of Israel because Hagar was not of the Covenant Promise as Sarah....Jesus was of the tribe of Judah, a Jew, which was the strongest and endured longer, for the purpose of bringing down the Messiah....but there were many false worshipping and idol worships going on...what happened to Ishmael when Abraham sent Hagar away as God told him to do? Ishmael was not a son of the covenant promise..Mohammed does claim to be a descendant of Ishmael!!!
  • Constantinople/Byzantium/Istanbul fell to the Ottoman Empire in 1453, marking the effective end of Christianity in the area. However, the southern parts of what we now call Turkey had been Muslim for a long time: Islam had been spreading up the Mediterranean coast since about 900, and the fall of Constantinople, and its subsequent becoming the capital of the Ottoman Empire, just marked a high point. The Ottomman Empire went on to conquer large areas including modern Iraq, Egypt, Greece, Bulgaria, and Albania, making Islam the state religion (but usually tolerating Christianity and Judaism) in all.
  • we belive that some day Islam will be the relegion of the wohle world 9:33 ((It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although they who associate others with Allah dislike it)) Islam is taking his way to come over the all religion...
  • Turks are a cosmopolitan society when it comes to Islam. They had been believing in a single God since tens of thousands of years as the word Turk comes from the concept which was written on Orkhon Inscriptions. The word "(ö)T(ü)r(ü)k" was used in the inscriptions. Whic means "singing, speaking - loving, reproducing - living being" It was written as (ö)Kük : T(ü)r(ü)k which means "God Knowing Humans" The word Kük or Gök later became "God" in Europe as a result of Kipchaks bringing their culture with them to Europe. Turks are different than the mainstream Muslims because they converted from the peaceful and philosophical Tengrism while Arabs converted from violent paganism. Arabs used to stone people to death (today they stone an imaginary Satan during Hajj) bury female babies alive, burn people alive, walk around the Kaaba naked and have group sex with men and women. Turks gained control of the Muslim nations because they were culturally and technologically more advanced and because all the religions in existence is the result of the "Tengri" idea.
  • up from the pastures came Mohammed....Ishmael descendants....because they are not of the 12 Tribes....just the son not of the Covenant/Promise ,which came from the Tribe of Judah...as Jesus/Christ/ the Anointed....
  • Islam is for all, no one is better than another, only fear and love of God makes the difference. Islam was not forced any people, Islam came to make all people know that God is there. Islam has nothing to do with violence or with the way some people think. Islam is a way of life according to the words of God. All people are equal, all people are same in front of their creator. and every one is responsible for his own deeds. i am not biased, just the truth said from a heart that saw the light.
