  • No. No creepies at all.
  • not so much the house, they sort of follow me around.
  • YES WE HAVE THIS ONE ROOM THAT IS ALWAYS DARK AND IT IS RIGHT OUT SIDE OF MY ROOM SO THAT EVERY TIME I PASS IT I FEEL LIKE THERE IS SOMEONE THERE WATCHING ME BUT I AM TO SCARED TO LOOK BACK LOL
  • Nah...the ghost girl and her cat are kinda fun to have around!
  • I just recently moved into a new apartment. Weird things are always happening, and although I don't believe in ghosts and such, my boyfriend is convinced there is one. I've started a load of laundry and then he went back in later to switch it out and the lid would be open and it would be stopped, with a couple cycles left still. Our room is FREEZING, but only when we wake up in the mornings. Every other room (which is only which, and that is identical to the room I'm in) is warm and cozy, yet ours is always freezing and the blinds are always moving, even though the windows are closed and the fan is off (not just the normal movement, like sounds like wind blowing them). Stuff like that, but it doesn't really creep ME out, I just wish it'd stop being so cold because I am constantly freezing! haha
  • Not in my apartment, but there is definitely an evil presence in my parents' house.
  • Other than the fact that I live in it? Most people think that's creepy enough.
  • Sometimes when I walk down the hallway and pass by our room, I see a figure sitting by the bed. When I take a second look, it's gone. When our kitchen windows are closed, the window in front of the sink give a clear reflection of our hallway. My family members say they sometimes see someone walking there towards the bathroom, most of the time a guy that resembles my dad. But when they check the bathroom its empty. Once we had a puppy and because we didn't want it running around and making a mess at night, we tied him to one of the mahogany chairs in our living room. Around midnight, my sister and I were still up and chatting. We heard the puppy yapping like mad. And then... we heard what sounded like the mahogany chair slowly being dragged across our tiled floor. Take note, the puppy is tiny, the mahogany chair is big and HEAVY, I can't even carry it alone. The dragging sound happened two or three more times. Although we were scared out of our wits, my sister and I can't stand the thought of having the puppy tied there and being scared of whatever it is that he's scared of... we went to the living room but saw no one there, and the chairs haven't moved. We quickly untied the puppy and went off to our room. We heard the dragging sound again for a bit, then it never happened again.
  • Yes! We recently moved to a rental house that is on the same land and only about 50 feet away from a house that I have been told is haunted. There is a sidewalk that leads from it to our house. That house is for sale (our landlord owns it). The house on the other side of us is empty too. These three houses were empty for some time until we rented the middle house. I heard a loud mechanical sound coming out of the house on the left of us one night and the house on the right has been said to have an apparition of a lady in a petticoat dress that appears and smiles. None of this really bothers me much. Since I haven't seen anything. However we have a lot of issues with the cable boxes not working right and the alarm clocks not going off or going off at the wrong time. We have only lived here for 2 months so hopefully that is all we expeience. LOL
  • Other than me, no.
  • The only thing creepy about my house is my neighbors. I'm halfway convinced they've got a freezer full of body parts in their garage.
  • thye first owner killed him self in the bathroom
  • Yes. Things disappear for days and then end up right back where I looked for it the first time...Of course that could be attributed to the 3 kids running around here...But there was one thing that happened when we first moved in that REALLY freaked me out. I had a male Jack Russell, and I let him out to do his business one morning. He started whining and carrying on, wanting to come back in after 2 seconds of being out. That was not like him at all. He usually thought he was the size of a rottweiler, and invincible, when it came to things in the yard. I looked outside and there was this black dog that had one blue eye and one brown one. He was just sitting there staring at us. My mother was living with us at the time, So I called her to come and help me chase this dog out of our yard. She came out I was in front of the dog and she was to the far left of it. The dog started snarling and growling, then he ran off into a bush. There was only one bush in the yard. This dog disappeared. I would've seen him come out in the front or to the right and Mom would've seen it come out from the back or the left...To this day, 7 years later, I haven't ever seen that dog since he vanished in the bush...Weird, huh? My husband still doesn't believe us about it...
  • The only thing creepy about my house is the things that get into the attic and under the bushes outside. I have a pest control service, and they have treated for rats and bees. This week, I heard scratching in the ceiling again. At night, the dogs bark at the bushes, and when I use the flashlight, I can see the shiny eyes of something. My next door neighbors leave food out for the wild cats that live in our neighborhood, hence, rats, possum, squirrels, and such. Every once in awhile, my dog runs into the bathroom crying and shaking. When I look outside, I see a wolf-dog that lives nearby has gotten out again. I always shut the doors and windows when it is out.
  • my mom once saw her dead great-granmother in a black cloak, and I've seen a small light floating in my room, a strange woman turn on a fan, and I'm sure I was talking to two people in my room that kept appearing and dissappearing a few months ago. I felt delerious, and they beared resemblence to Mary and Jesus......
  • yes there is, I cant sleep anymore i stay up all the time at night the only time i feel comfortable is when im with somebody i dont know if my house has a negative energy or a ghost, i wish i knew the answer to that guestion!
  • Nope, my house is creepy free! :)
  • I live in it.
  • The previous owner died in it.
  • my house may be small, but it has nothing creepy about it.
  • Some kids drowned in the river out behind the house about 15 yrs ago. Its creepy going outside at night because of that.
  • i see dead people????
  • Yes. A black, shadowy thing. Here it is on Arisztid's cat's blind side, in a pic. It is NOT on the wall. And there was a flash used, so it is not a shadow.
  • Nope. But apparently the kennel I worked in for a year and a half was extremely haunted. But I had never once, got a weird or spooky feeling. The only not good feeling I ever got was 'I hope there isn't a serial killer waiting inside for me.'
  • I think there's rodents or something living inside the walls of my apartment, I can hear them scudding around when it's quiet enough. It keeps reminding me of that movie, Basketcase and it freaks me out.
  • yes the dryer opens an shuts on its own, i had a balloon that once wouldnt stay in my room it always floated down the hall, the other day the mirror in the bathroom just fell off.. but didnt break.. i dunno whats goin on but just weird stuff
  • I have lived in my current house for about 6 mo. Nothing was happening at first...then my cats would go into one of the spare bedrooms and poo all over the place. I put a litter box in there and they still wouldn't go. So I just store boxes and other stuff in there and keep the door shut. I was baby sitting my niece one day and I need to grab some stuff out of that room. My niece (about 2 yrs old) would not go in that room..she would scream and freak out. Then one night I was sitting in the living room..all lights out and all my cats were in the living with me...I hear something scooting across the floor. I turned the lights on and all my cats bowls were neatly in the middle of the hallway. Lately, my cats are chasing things that aren't there and I hear dishes moving around all the time. Sometimes I can feel when the spirit is in the room because I get a cold feeling and just that creepy sensation that somebody is there. It Doesn't appear to be evil..that is all I care about.
  • Just me!
  • Not at all. It is about 2 years old, we just built it and everything in it is fresh and new, except for those two old codgers that live there:-)
  • Not my present house. There was in my last place, but I divorced him.
  • Yea.Im reading your questions and I feel weird,lol
  • Only the fact that when I leave and my husband is here in the house, the spirit/paranormal activity picks up to a very creepy/uncomfortable level, and when I come back it goes back to what we're used to.
  • not in my mums 20yearold house or my grandmas house
  • yeah..my mortgage payment....gives me the shivers everytime I write that check
  • Not where I live now, but the house I grew up in had one room that was spookey. The house was large (13 rooms, 1 bathroom & 3 walk-in closets) It had a long hallway upstairs. I would climb the stairs and run down the hall past the first room on the right and lock my door as soon as I got into my room. No matter how many times I shut that door, It would be wide open, So would the closet door. I even put a trunk in front of it, and another time I pulled the dresser over in front of the closet door, but it would be open the next time I went by. For years I thought it was just me until 25 years later, we were having Thanksgiving dinner at my sisters and my younger sister said something about "that haunted room" in the house on the farm. We all started discussing it, and had had the same feelings about it. All four of us kids, my cousin who lived with us, and my Mom and Dad thought it was haunted. And we had all had the same experiences.
  • It's just started to get a bit weird. Things have gone missing, and popping up in very strange places (like on top of the fridge, which is quite hard to access). Just last week I unplugged my phone when getting out of bed. I got dressed, and searched around for my phone. After two minutes of solid looking, I gave up and went into the kitchen to find my phone placed neatly on the bench... I did a walk around the house to see if there was anything else suspect, but it was fine. At night I'm hearing the roof cavity click and thump, which I put down to thermal contraction, but after this last spate of anomalies, I think I might investigate. At my old house there was a rock, about the size of a large fist, that would always be moved from where it was placed to a section of ground about a metre away. It became a running joke after a while. One time my mother in law asked me "Why do you keep putting this stone in the way?" I shrugged and put the stone back. Like clockwork, next morning, it was back to the same position. There were no drag marks on the ground, so I assumed it rolled, but as to how? and why that particular rock and not the others? I have no idea.
  • Am renting a house at the moment with a few friends and am convinced there are spirits in the bedroom. Am often woken up by the sensation of someone lying down next to me in the bed in the middle of the night and then very cold chills..to be honest its not frightening and I dont think there is anything sinister. An old lady used to live there and she passed away last year so I am guessing its her. Plus we cannot get the hot water tap in the bathroom to stop even though we have replaced the tap and had plumbers in to look at it.
  • no not even the ghost in the basement or the cat from another realm who once in a while jumps on the bed.
  • Just the smelly creature in the back bedroom. My mother tells me it is just my nephew though.
  • My family is not superstitous but we starting noticing that everything adds up to thirteen: the chairs, the rooms, the plants outside, the phone number, the letters in our names, the number of windows, the number of years we've owned the house, and there have been thirteen wierd occurances (things rolling off the table by themselves, etc) That's a little creepy.
  • Just the pedophile upstairs in the columbo raincoat
  • Yes. I live in a high-rise and some of my neighbors are nuts.
  • Nothing :-) !
  • oddly enough, everywhere i've ever lived had some kind of weird things happening. in my mom's house was the worst of it. They followed me everywhere. I was folding laundry in the middle of the living room. my parents were in there room, i would have noticed them coming out. my sister was outside playing with her friends, i would have heard the front door opening. So there i am folding laundry when all of a sudden something pulls my hair(mind you not a strand or something, we are talking a ponytail amount of hair) yanked it hard enough it actually hurt my neck! I was sitting on the bed when I felt something rubbing my back down and up on my spinal cord area(talk about shivers) I got up to use the restroom. I heard a noise and saw the door knob turning. I quickly locked the door, which only angered it. It began to pound on the door, loud enough the sound echoed and hard enough you could see it shaking on the hinges. I screamed! lol. I was home alone when that happened. Also, I was laying in bed, I was wide awake, the lights were on, it was almost three in the morning(I'm a night person) when I looked up and saw a figure standing in front of the bed.(I oddly enough didn't scream. and it didn't notice that I saw it.) It had its head tilted studying me. It didn't have a face. It was wearing long black robes and a hooded cloak. I studied it for a few minutes before I finally gasped(slow reaction..I know..but I'm glad I did because I would have surely thought myself crazy for seeing that). My list goes on and on. My husband has seen things and experienced things too.
  • My mom and sister rented in a house in Telluride, Colorado and slept in the living room. They could hear the bedroom furniture moving around upstairs, or being knocked over. The house never had people in it for more then 6 months at a time. When it burned down, they found a box with human bones chopped up in it.
  • Yep! This one time I was home alone and i was in my room doing homework and i thought i heard the door open in the kitchen and shut and someone walk in which was no big deal because i just figured it was my mom. Then what i thought to be in my moms voice "Honey are you hungery?" and i was like "Yah mom what are we having for dinner?" and i waited for like a minute and got no response so i decided to go check it out. When i arrived in the kitchen my mom, let alone no one was in there and the kitchen door was locked! I looked out the window and my moms car wasn't even there so i check the rest of the house to be sure no one was there and there was not!
  • yes whenever a pet or family dies or will die soon i get a smell of rotting flesh in my room. This has happened more than once when i have had an person die.
  • about 4 years ago i was living in an apartment that was built in the 50's..we had experienced strange cold spots and drafts, and when i would have friends over they would say they felt weird drafts in the room..and one night i fell asleep on the couch and was woken up by the six disc cd changer turning around and around..there were not any cd's in it so it kept changing..and also it wasn't turned on when i went to bed..the only time i turned it on was when i used it..i got up and turned it off and laid back down..only for it to turn back on again and continue to turn looking for a cd..i finally just unplugged it..and thank god it didnt come back on!! and here's my white noise story for that apt. one night my boyfriend was in the bedroom playing playstation so i got up to go in the living room to watch t.v. there was a computer that was right by a window in the dining room..when i walked past it i heard a womans voice..very faintly..i looked out the window and nobody was there..i open the front door and looked around..again nobody..it was dark and i fig. someone was outside talking on their cell phone so i just sat down and watched t.v. about an hour later my boyfriend walks into the room and past the computer..he stops and asks me if i hear a woman talking..i told him i heard it but didnt think anything of it, we look outside again and still dont see anyone. then he gets closer to the computer and realizes its coming from the speakers..the computer was turned on but not online or anything..he turns up the speakers and we hear this lady speaking in a very ghostly voice..it's in a diffrent language that we had never heard before..she would talk for about 20 seconds then we would hear static..then she would talk some more..he freaked out and turned off the computer and it stopped.im getting chills just writing this..haha and my best friend just called me and the phone was on vibrate and i jumped out of my seat..haha anyways the next day i was telling my friend about what happened and he said that sounded exactly like white noise..so we rented the movie and man that sounded just like what i heard!!
  • Yeah every day its shadow people and voices with bright lights.
  • All the exposed wires and electronics in the house. Yay! Fear cage! Let the paranoia ensue!
  • There is a monster who lives in my closet.
  • Yes Lastnight as i woke up both the light on both sides of my bed turned on right in front of my eyes! and the door to my kitchen opens and it sticks its very hard to open that door ... Im reallly scared and i wish i knew why this was hapening ? Do you think there are certian thing people do to invite these ghosts like reading up on them alot or you tubeing vidoes of them what do u guys think mabey im reading and researching them to much ?
  • One time I was home alone for the weekend. I locked up the whole house before going to bed, and realized that I had misplaced something. I searched the whole house for it and found nothing. I even pulled the sheets off of my bed 3 separate times to see if the missing container was on my bed somewhere. I found nothing, and just went to sleep. The next morning I woke up and to my surprise, the missing container was sitting on top of my sheets as if someone had purposely set it there while I was asleep. I checked my house to make sure no one was in it and found all of the doors locked so it wasn't possible that anyone could have escaped in the night. It was truly a miracle. I know it wasn't from God because the container was full of marijuana. I had gone to bed sober the night before too, so it wasn't that I was tripping.
  • Not where I live now. But we lived in a house where a certain biker gang had lived and it was very strange. In fact, all three houses on the property has several things happen to the occupants..more than what would be normal. One young couple moved in, she was pregnant and she grew hysterical and they had to move out as the place scared the beejeezes out of her. A friend had moved to a house temporarily, and another friend and I visited and soon as I stepped in the door I did not like the feeling I had, and I asked my friend if she liked the house and she said No, call me crazy, this is a 'bad' house. Neither of us ever went back.
  • I live in a house were someone commited suicide plus my house used to make coffens when i was 5 is saw a white lady walk across the room fade through a wall i was so scared i ran to my dads room i wouldnt go to bed by my self for 2 years.
  • nop..not that i know of
  • yup the stereo turns it self up using the volume control knobs, we've (me and my husband) seen shadow beings orbs and ghosts, but we both attract them
  • yeah my mums boyfriend hes a total freak!
  • Yes. There's this small hole in the wall near the cabinet in our kitchen, and whenever I walk near it, I hear this hissing noise. Nobody else hears it, and it doesn't hiss when they are around, but I could be putting something in the microwave and I hear this "...Sssssss.....Sssssss...." and it's kind of creepy.
  • YES!! my houe is a kin of old house and i have seen these orb things outside my bedroom window. Once i shouted go away and it just disappeared. I have seen shadows in the back yard that resemble people when no one is there and the scariest thing that ever happened was i was walking downstairs and i saw my kitchen cabinets (all of them) open and shut at the same time. So creepy, but i don't think my ghosts are bad. They have never harmed me just given me a few scares.
  • Yes. There is a small closet-like area in the downstairs bathroom of my split-level home. It does have some exposed piping in the upper left hand corner but there doesn't seem to be any purpose for its being there at all. Every time I think about it or am near it I instantly want to get away from there. Since our house is haunted by the ghost of a small boy, who is not creepy and is actually positive and playful, I wonder if it has something to do with him. I wish I knew what happened there that makes me feel so ill.
  • well one night i heard a somewhat loud scratching noise for a good hour before i got to sleep. I was shocked at what i found the next morning. i went downstairs after i had woke up and found that my door was scratched up quite bad. so i whipped out my camera and took a pic. heres a picture for proof: http://img256.imageshack.us/i/scratch.jpg/ what would you do if you found that?
  • its huge and dark
  • Yep a weird ventilation system where these small doors flap on the tiop floor very creepy.
  • how funny you should ask... our last house was haunted, and sure enough so is our new house. i think i'm going crazy. after our second night here, we woke up to find all of our cabinets and drawers in our kitchen all open. there was no sign of a intrusion, or anything of value gone. like i said i lived with it in the last house, but this is the last straw. i contacted a paranormal group here locally, and hopefully they will be able to help me. are you experiencing anything yourself?
  • yea, in my room and the backroom something knocks on the walls knocks down movies and if im correct is always touching my back/ right shoulder in the middle of the night when im on the computer... its seriously scary but im used to it, when i have freinds over for the night they always get really scared and feel uncomfortable i personally think its fun and ive gotten a few pics of it... i named it fabio but i dont think it likes being called fabio.
  • Yeah, there's a storage area under the stairs that seriously creeps me out, and a closet in our bathroom that has exposed pipes and no known purpose.
  • The house I live in is old, with not enough windows, but I have never felt anything creepy....in THIS house. My daughters and I had only one occurance in the last house we lived, but the two before that (and one when my kids were small)....I could have written a best seller...too bad I'm not a writer! The houses that had activity weren't ALL creepy. Just the one when my kids were smaller. It was creepy, because it felt....evil.
  • YES, ROOFING COMPANIES PURPOSELY PUT TRAP DOORS IN THE VENTS OF ONE STORY HOUSES, SO THEY CAN COME BACK AND STEAL WHILE THE RAINY SEASON IS ON IN THE NORTHWEST. ONE CAN HEAR MOVEMENT IN THE ATTIC, EVEN MY CATS LOOK TO THE CEILINGS.
  • Surprisingly in this house nothing but my other home... Brrrrr. Light on and off, The door from the oven fell wide open with a horrible noise (I was 10 and alone with my cousin, same age). That was creepy. There was lots more but I don't wan't to write everything.
  • YES! Just today my best friend felt something grab her ankle while waking down the stairs, she was to scared to turn around she just took her time getting back down, and not long ago while lying in bed one of the drawers in my dressers flew open and hit my bed, there is also a lot of noise and banging coming from the attic next to my room day and night.
  • My bedroom is in the attic, it was never meant to be a bedroom so it was built with only one tiny window. At night it's dark enough that you can't see your own hands no matter how close it is to your eyes. My cats creep around quietly but just loud enough that you hear them sometimes and imagine it's something else. The room is triangle shaped and the bed's in a corner so the roof hangs down close to your face and sometimes you can hear squirrels running around the roof or more cats yowling at eachother outside. There's a hole in the wall that you can hear sounds from sometimes. My cats like going in there too so it's probably them...
