My dog started to lose balance in a way. Like her mobility skills became disoriented. She is swaying side to side too. She was sniffing at something too but when I looked to see and even smelled the area there was nothing noticable.

I suggest you call your Vet ASAP. Sudden onset of a loss of mobility or "wobbles," particularly in the hind end, can be related to kidney dysfunction and if this is the case, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE. Without the ability to SEE YOUR DOG...this is the best advice I can offer you. Better safe than sorry, and I would absolutely LOVE to be WRONG! As for her sniffing, never, ever, try to figure out what a dog is smelling...they can smell things as far away as a five block radius from where they are...and IDENTIFY, sort, categorize WHAT THE HECK IT IS...that they smell...they ROCK at smelling things so far above us it's laughable to think WE smell much of anything at all!
