1 gallon 93 octane gas= $2.75 regular about $2.55 1/2 gallon of milk= $3.19 dozen eggs--about $2.00 loaf of Pepperidge Farm or Arnold bread--$2.50 I only know the prices of the stuff I buy.

From Franklin, Ky. at WalMart. Gasoline, 2.41 a gallon Milk 2.89 a gallon with no tax Eggs 1.25 for a large dozen Bread...the cheapest is .54 cents a loaf No tax on food. Anyone care to move to Franklin??

Northern California: Gas is 3.27 a gallon for Regular Unleaded. Milk is about 2.69 a gallon, without tax. A dozen eggs is probably about 1.50 And the cheapest loaf of bread you can get is .99

In Dollars 1 gallon of unleaded gas is 2.78 A gallon of milk is 4.19, a dozen eggs is 1.49 & a loaf of bread is 1.29 although Publix swlls their own brand for .99.

Here is the dirt. 1 liter of gas is now 139 yen so about $4.80 a gallon. 1 liter of milk is about 190 yen so about $6.60 a gallon. 10 large eggs are 230 yen so 276 yen per dozen and that would be $2.40. A loaf of bread if it were 16 slices would be 260 yen (130 for a pack of 8 slices) so a loaf would be about $2.26. Calculated at 115 yen per 1 US dollar.
