  • In her prayer to Holy Mary , she said , please ask your Son Jesus to give me a miracle and after so long the woman got up one morning and was able to walk gain use of both of her legs
  • No of all the versions of this story Ive heard , never once have I meet anyone this has actually happened to. Hence why I think most churchies tell lies.

  • Let me try to answer carefully and briefly. --A-- I believe that such things can and do happen. --B-- All I know about your story is that you said it happened. Therefore, I have no idea if your particular story is true or not true.

  • Who can say? Miracles happen though. There is a miraculous healing place in Chimayo New Mexico where people have been healed or cured or however you want to express it. El Santuario de Chimayo dedicated to El Santo Nino de Atoche.

  • I imagine its happened before. But I will tell you what has never happened - people growing a new arm or leg because of an alleged miracle. Miracles are always "invisible." > Also many of the "miracles" declared by the Catholic Churches have been denied by Medical Doctors. For example Bernadette's (Our Lady of Fatima) body not decaying.

  • I wouldn't doubt it with Satan who is behind all deception performing miracles. 2 Thessalonians 2:9 "The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,"

  • I believe in miracles and the power of prayer. What I don't believe is this story for a couple of reasons. 1) The Bible says, "Thou shall have no other gods before me." While this does mean how it appears on the surface, it also applies to praying to anyone other than God himself - namely the Virgin Mary. 2) The Virgin Mary is dead and buried in a hole in the ground somewhere. She no longer exists, not even in heaven. The Bible makes it clear that no one is in heaven except God himself and the Son of God. As much as this may bruise the hopes and dreams of millions of people, it means that man will never go to heaven when he dies (so you parents are teaching your children wrong). These reasons don't mean the miracle didn't happen - there's the possibility that it did. I'm open-minded about it. But it didn't happen the way the story claims.

  • For sure it wasn't "holy" Mary, she has no such power to do so from Heaven. Only Jesus Christ and the Lord God have this power.
