• Its best to check with a pharmacist. You can call any drugstore and ask. But it would depend on the sleep aid. Melatonin is naturally produced by your body and is considered a sleep aid.

      The benedryl page says " If you suffer from chronic insomnia that occurs at least 3 nights per week and lasts at least 2 weeks, consider the use of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBTI) to resolve the condition instead." Here's the link if you want to read up on it:
