  • The worst part of hell is knowing that you have voluntarily separated yourself from God forever. Hell is the state of complete and final self-exclusion from communion with God and the blessed, reserved for those who refuse by their own free choice to believe and be converted from sin, even to the end of their lives I like to think of it this way. The only way a person will go to hell is if they want to. God in His (or Her) unlimited love has given us free will to choose. Our most important choice is to freely decide to accept or reject God's constant offer of spending eternity with Him in heaven. God will respect the choice to reject Him. For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 1033-1037: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1sect2chpt3art12.htm#1033 With love in Christ.
  • I think the worst part about hell would be knowing that you had the chance to "not go there" and all the pain and torment that would be constant and never ever go away. Eternity is a very long time. Who in their right mind would want to spend eternity in such a dark, gruesome, terrifying, burning lake of fire forever and ever?
  • The number of people who threaten you with it.
  • The worst part is when it is inside us.
  • Unlike marriage you can't divorce the Devil. I also hear the food is bad and the service sucks....Oh wait...that's my cell phone company.....now where was I?....oh Hell...yeah right.
  • I think it is the number of people who warn me about a myth I do not believe in. However, if both Heaven and Hell are true, Heaven will be full of boring, self-righteous people, and Hell will be the hot place to be.
  • If I did believe in it, and I'm not sure I do, I think it is probably a state of existence, as opposed to a physical 'place'. If it were part of a supreme beings creation, then the ultimate punishment would be complete separation from this being. I saw a priest being interviewed that claimed to have 'died' and come back and for some reason had gotten a glimpse of hell, describing it as very cold and barren, he broke down and started to cry, not finishing the interview.
  • okie dokie...I just feel sorry for those that dont believe.
  • I heard the worst part of hell is actually, not physical( the teeth griding pain/the burning pain) but actually more of a "spiritual" pain, where the pain comes from not knowing/being separated by God.
  • getting anal raped by Satan's metal barbed unit daily

  • That you are left thinking of all that you could have done and all that you wish you had done but there's nothing you can do. You are left, never to have another chance. You will stay there for eternity.

  • No room service yo...
  • The worst part of Hell is that it is torment and lasts for an eternity. People usually figure God will be merciful, and if I go there, well, maybe in a few months, years, even for a longer length of time, God will show up and let me out. They do not believe God because they see Him as merciful which he is. But God is also just. One may be willing to suffer for a time, but Hell will be Hell because it will be completely devoid of God who is Love, and this experience will never end. I have had a lot of personal dealings with Satan, and I can tell you, once you are eternally separated from God, you will suffer to the utmost of your imagination and beyond, getting worse and worse ad infinitum. Another thing that will be the worst part of Hell, is there will be a lot of "if onlys". If only I had listened to this person when they tried to point me in the right direction. If only I had read the Bible or gone to a good church when I had the chance. If only I had not been so independent that I thought I did not need God. Before anyone goes to Hell, they will be judged by their Creator and the lover of their soul, Jesus Christ. At this judgement, they will see themselves as Jesus sees them, they will see the True Jesus as He really is and will never get over what they have lost. They will only get a glimpse of it. Yes, it will be torment, it will never end as that is what eternity is. God sent His beloved Son to suffer and die on a Cross so you would never go there. Those of us who have been saved know we will never suffer in Hell. We have an eternity of life and love ahead of us, blessings that have begun in this world and will continue and be added to in Heaven. It is all determined during our lives here on earth where there is a battle going on for your soul, thus your question.
  • No God

  • The lies that have been told about it. The way that the Bible has been misrepresented. See this link for what the Bible really teaches about hell: http://www.watchtower.org/e/20020715/article_02.htm
  • Eternal separation from God and no second chances.
  • Separation from your Creator for eternity.
  • probably burning in hell

  • Because it is man's grave, no one dead is aware of it...for good or bad... Length of time there does not matter... They are conscious of nothing...until the resurrection... (Revelation 20:12, 13) And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. The dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead in it, and death and the Grave gave up the dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds. Because a persons death fully pays [ like wages ] of anything they did wrong while alive, the judgement is all about their willingness...or not...to be obedient to the rules of the NEW Kingdom ruled by Jesus...and his standards. Wages ? (Romans 6:23) For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord. Wages are always paid in full...even small wages And those who are obedient will have a good future on the earth...(Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. Never dying... (1 Corinthians 15:54, 55) But when this which is corruptible puts on incorruption and this which is mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will take place:
  • In Hebrew translation, hell means Sheol. The word hell is the common grave. Here are some biblical passages from the King James Version and the English Standard Version, so you can see for yourself. Psalm 6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the [grave] who shall give thee thanks?" (KJV) Psalm 6:5 "For in death there is no remembrance of you; in [Sheol] who will give you praise?" (ESV)
  • If you desire to know about Hell I suggest you read the Book of Enoch. If it doesn't make you think ;more than twice about not wanting to go there you have a real problem..Just knowing that Hell is only temporary but it is what comes after, the second death... when the ones in Hell will be thrown into the sulpherous fire and burned never to return.
  • Knowing how simple it would have been to choose a more favorable outcome.
  • Probably all those people I avoided in life!
  • It was invented to scare people into tithing at churches. It is comparable to spanking children or whipping horses to make them do as you want. Clergymen instill feelings of guilt and fear for fictional reasons to control people totally and take 10% of their money.
  • The worst part about hell is that it's a totally false belief and the Old testament specifically warns you against believing in such a thing I want you to hear the exact quote of the Bible. You must not teach your children that when they pass they will go through the fire to molec that's the God of fire by the way. Because such a teaching is an abomination to me it's something that I did not command you to teach and such an idea will never enter into my mind. God is very adamant that you are never to tell somebody that God tortures you in the fire. In fact in the New testament in all three of the Gospels it tells you do not be afraid of men who can only kill your body and then can do no more but rather be in fear of God who after he has killed you can destroy your soul in hell. Notice very plainly that God kills you before he throws you into the fire of hell to be destroyed. This is in all three of the Gospels God kills you first before destroying what is left of you in the fire the fire does not revive you it does not torture you because you are already dead the fire destroys your remains for all time
  • All the grandparents
