  • Rev 20:14 KJV "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." Is Hell nothing but another term for Hades, death, the grave, the pit?
  • way under
  • it,s a fiery holding place in the heart of the earth. Where the ungodly, unbelievers go to wait for judgment.. Matthew 12:40 ,, Mark 9:43 ,, Rev. 20:13..
  • The religions would have you believe that when you die you go to Heaven or to Hell. But ask yourself, would a loving God really torment people in a fiery furnace? Hardly. In the book of Ecclesiastes, Ch. 9 v 4, 5 & 10 it tells us that the dead know nothing, there is no knowledge or wisdom. If that is the case then death is the end of everything and it would be pointless burning forever in a fire. Hell is the common grave of mankind and in the Book of Revelation it is figuratively case into the Lake of Fire, as obviously, hell cannot be burned up.

God HATES sin and he is loving not willing that any should perish. But man has his own will. You cannot throw out some scripture to favor others. You apparently do not understand Ecclesiastes properly..

Proverbs 15:24 The path of life leads upward for the prudent to keep them from going down to the realm of the dead. Echoed in Revelations 20:13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done And to see that these are two separate places, see Rev 2:11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.’ Revelations 20:6 Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years. And the lake of fire is the lack of fire, ie the second death Rev 21: 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” Matthew 25:46 Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” 2 Thess 1:9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might Matthew 13:15 and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mark 9:43 If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. Jude 1:7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. Matthew 13:42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
  • Hell is the common grave of mankind, a Greek word corresponding to the Hebrew word “Sheol.” It is translated “Grave”, to distinguish it as the common grave of mankind.  Where is Hell? It's your grave wherever that may be.
  • It will be a big advantage to you to use a modern, scholarly translation. For example: these: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=rev+20%3A10-15&version=NASB1995;NRSV "Hades" is not properly translated "hell" in modern times. A much more accurate and precise translation would be "the Land of the Dead". In any case: it is "the Lake of Fire" itself that we (in modern times) USUALLY refer to as "Hell". It is the Lake of Fire that is the "place" of eternal torment for the wicked, and that is normally what people mean when using the word "Hell".
  • Hell is nothing more than the common grave of mankind. It's not a place of conscious torment. And when it says that hell is throat into the lake of fire that means that it's going to be destroyed. The Bible says The last enemy death will be destroyed sheol the grave will be destroyed it is from that word that we derive our word hell
