He appeared (or at least a pre-recorded video segment with him was shown) on Monday Night Raw this week; however I think this sort of appearance from afar is the closest he will get to a return to the WWE. I suppose it is possible he could act as a special guest referee at a future Wrestlemania or somesuch, like Steve Austin is doing at the upcoming Battle of the Billionaires, but actual full-on contact in the ring is honestly something he doesn't need to do any more, so he won't.

The Rock stated that wrestling is his blood, but he wants to take some time off, to pursue an acting career, so he doesn't get burned out on wrestling. He claimed he WILL make a return to the ring, and to set the record straight, he made more money wrestling than he EVER could dream of making by acting.

I have good sources. The Rock will be back in the ring, on the RAW roster, fulltime for about 6 months early next year. During that time he is on hiatus from movie making, and Vince has been quick to snap him up. Just bring it!!!

I've been getting alot of answers that The Rock is suppose to be returning to WWE sometime next year, so my answer is yes, Rocky will be returning probably either spring of winter 2008.

i heard some rumors saying that the the rock will come back at NO WAY OUT this month and he will be on the elimination chamber match because Mr. Mcmahon said that he will take out some one of the sixth wrestlers to put the rock on it and so if he won he will get a WWE title Match at WRESTLMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANIA 24 they said that WWE is in his heart and i Don't think if he had wwe in his heart will care about Money.

The Rock said that austin took his ball and went home. but the fact of the matter is the rock took his ball and went home. i mean who would want the hype of thousands of fans screaming your name. i would. so who cares if you make more money in hollywood. the fans need you rock come back home!!!

The Rock will never be back. True, it did get him to where he is today, but he has chosen to dis-associate himself from wrestling because it is looked down upon by any "real star" in Hollywood. He is a piece of crap and I for one refuse to support him by watching anymore of his movies!

Unfortunelty, he's to wraped up in Hollywood to come back, plus backstage the superstars made fun of this, how he would not be called The Rock anymore that he wants to be called Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. And don't get me wrong I'm a Rock fan, but he makes fun of the superstars supposedly saying that he's goin to hollywood and there not (what The Rock actually said is way to long. Basically he's too caught up with Hollywood to come back, I hope that he will though.
