  • Several times. I swell up where I'm stung.
  • Yes! Once, it was so weird. I was walking by myself, and I had a hat and big sunglasses yet I got stung by a bee on the outer corner of my eyelid! It was the first time and I thought I wasn't going to make it home and collapse.
  • When I was about 4. The bee stung me on my toe.
  • I swore very loudly... turning the air blue. Then put on some antiseptic cream
  • I've been stung twice to my knowledge. Once on my back, right on my spinal column. That one hurt a lot. Later, I got stung on my leg. That one i didn't notice until I found the stinger in my skin.
  • Every year when it's time to cut the grass I always have to battle these yellow jackets that make their nest in the ground. The first time, they did'nt like the sound of the lawnmower so 4 of those little bastards stung me right in the back. Every year they get craftier and relocate their nest so I now I play investigator before I start my season of lawn mowing. I also have a 3 year old so I do have all the incentive I need to kill those no good little yellow bastards.
  • I have been stung more than once by both honey bees and wasps. It hurts like hell but Im not allergic or anything so it just swelled a little and was sore.
  • many many many years ago, i put my hand down on a shelf and there was a bee there. Of course, he stung me on my index finger. I panicked and thought the ideal thing would be to get alcohol on it. Sooooooo, I put my finger IN the bottle and the finger immediately swelled and I couldnt get the finger out...
  • Sure I have. It hurts for awhile, then it eventually goes away. It sucks, but it's not life threatening for me (no allergies), so I can't say I was traumatized by it or anything.
  • im allergic to bee stings...ive had my experiences though.. One time i was stung on the tongue...i couldnt breathe...i itched all over...my eyes started swelling shut, I cant describe the pain. It was taken care of with benadryl One time i was picking blackberries with my dad and my rottweiler was with us...he stepped into a yellow jacket nest...i was stung about 30 times...I was rushed to the hospital...i had to be on a respirator, and have shots of benadryl almost every hour...that pain was HORRIBLE... theres One that is the most memorable... i was sitting on a couch in front of an open window, i was watching my dad swat a wasps nest down...well the next thing i know im laying on the floor...My dad had swatted the wasp SO hard that it hit me directly in the forehead with its stinger, and knocked me off the couch... I have ALOT of other stories but dont want to bore everyone with details...
  • Weird stroy: I had gotten out of the shower and had found a shirt to wear to bed that had been sitting on top of my dresser for a few days (to sleep in) and all of a sudden my nipple has this sharp pain in it. I look down and I saw something on my chest. Turns out it was a bee! It stung me, and I had to put an ice pack on it. It hurt SO bad. :( Weirdest place I have ever been stung. *knocks on wood* *Edit- Luckily I am/was not allergic!
  • please delete
  • Yes, I have. The bee died. (wasps tend to survive, but bees lose their sting and die....I didn't kill it....)
  • Bees..it hurts, wasps...hurts worse, yellow jackets...really hurts scorpion..it hurts REALLY REALLY BAD fuzzy brown caterpillar..it hurts the worst..had to go to the dr for this one. • Yes several times. I just get water, pour it over dirt outside, (as quickly as possible) and make a mud pack. It takes the swelling and stinging down immediatly

  • When I was younger I got caught in a rose bush by my knee high striped tube socks. A couple bees came out of that bush and stung me on my neck... I got sick. More recently I got stung by a wasp. I opened the door to my apartment and received a wasp assault. Stung my neck then fell into my shirt and stung me a couple more times. This time I did NOT get sick, just irritated.
  • yes but i can't really blame the bee since i laid on it. it was on a raft in a pool and i didn't see the bee so he stung me. my friend's mom put meat tenderizer on it and made me stay out of the sun.
  • When I was 11 years old. This big bee seemed as if it was following me and I, as a scardey cat, ran away from it. It stung me on the arm, it hurt like crazy. I just sucked my arm, till this (puss)-like liquid came. My whole arm swollened up, and I had to take antibiotics.
  • When I was about 7 I was stung on the tip of my finger by a honey bee. Another time (I think I was around 10), I was stung by a wasp between my big toe and my second toe. That one hurt the worst. Fortunately, I'm not allergic, so nothing happened.
  • yes, many times. the worst was when one landed on the tip of my nose and stung me on the inside. i cried like i baby.
  • Oh gawd, I'd never been stung by anything until about 6 years ago. I was in Washington D.C. We stopped to get a snack from a vendor. I was walking along munching on an egg roll, and out of nowhere a hornet came buzzing down on me. He attacked my nose and stung me five times in a split second. I threw my hands up to my face, threw the egg roll, and threw my sunglasses off, all the while screaming. I was walking behind the rest of the family, they thought I was crazy. I felt like I was going to pass out. I had to sit down. Then it starting aching and my nose swelled to double. Two days later we were in Manassas, VA. sitting by the pool. I was enjoying the sun when all of a sudden my husband took off his shoe and whacked my foot. Simultaneously I felt an aching, stinging sensation on my pinky toe. I yelled at him, "Why did you do that!" He claims the wasp, this time, was going to sting me anyway. About two weeks later after returning home, we went to a favorite hang out. It's a clear cold water creek on private property. Once again I am sitting and enjoying watching the kids net minnows and I feel a burning, stinging sensation on my back. Yet another wasp had stung me threw the back of the lawn chair. But no, I have never been stung by a bee. Thank goodness! :)
  • I've been stung well over 30 times. As a kid my favorite hobby was bee catching. I'd get a Miracle Whip jar, punch holes in the top and while away the hours catching bees. I think my "highest point score" was about 45 bees. Then I'd let those pissed off little suckers out and I'd run. But, as an occupational hazzard, during summer months, I was more often with a bee sting than without . Almost always on my foot. The swelling takes days, sometimes 5-7, to go down. The worst time though happened when I bit into an orange without looking at it. A bee was munching on it at the time. It stung me on the tongue and I swallowed it. (disgusting flavor btw) had to be rushed to the hospital. I've also endured 3 scorpion bites. (but now I'm just bragging)
  • yes and not much other than it hurt like hell and i got a little welt like thing for a few days.

  • I have a really weird story.. back in my teenage years, when I was REALLY bad my mom locked me in her room with her so I couldn't sneak out and i'm REALLY claustrophobic and was FREAKING out bad. Crying and praying in my head for God to PLEASE PLEASE do something, anything to get me outta that room. After praying for a couple of minutes It felt like something bit my toe, I jumped up outta bed and pulled down the covers and there was a bee... the reason it's so weird is because it was the middle of winter, snow, ice.. everything... theres no reason a bee shoulda been there!!!
  • I've been stung many times by many different things. The most memorable one was when I managed to squash a wasp in my rubberboot, right on the bone on my shin. My shin is a very easily accessible bodypart to scratch, so it took great effort not to.
  • It hurt!
  • I've only been stung by a bee once in my life. I was at the playground at the elementary school. It was the Summer and I had sandals on. I went too close to a board laying on the ground. The bee had a home in the wood. It came out and stung my big toe.
  • I have been stung several times. None of them have really hurt much. I usually just swat it off.
  • I've only ever been stung on the underside of my foot.
  • I have never been stung by a bee, which is shocking. I've always been really afraid of bees so I stay really far away from them. :]
  • Never ever, beleive it or not.
  • On the left side of my head about an inch above my ear. Stung by a few bees... I shouldn't have been riding my bike over the hive in the sidewalk...
  • Quite a few times. As a kid I used to try and catch them by the wings, hold them for a while as they tried to sting me, then let 'em go. A game requiring a fine touch... Got stung a few times (about once every 50 bees). Only ever on my fingers. Quite painful I must say!
  • Yes Red Wasp Big ones - on my back when I was asleep
  • I sat on a wasp once and it bit me on my fanny before being squashed.
  • I was young and just came in from recess when I realized there was soemthing in my shirt and it stung me, turns out is was a bee. My teacher didn't want to let me go to the restroom so I had to tell her in front of everyone that I got stung on my breast. I had to go to the hospital the next day, turns out I was allergic. The other time I was walking to feed my sheep and I ended up getting stung on by my cheek bone. I couldn't go anywhere for days, and was finally taken into the hospital after a few days because half of my face swoll up prety bad, and my eye was shut and it was hard to talk because half my lips were so swollen. It was baad. And my family just laughed and wanted to take pictures. aiiish.
  • yeah only once though! i was like 4 or 5 and i got stung on the back of my left hand!! i cried lol!!
  • Yep. Lots of times. Usually I get stung when I am innocent though. When I am beating their nest with a bat I don't get stung. :)
  • i got stung in a farmer's market once .. my neck was itchy so i tilted my head sideways and squished the bee that was apparently sitting on my neck .. been terrified of them ever since
