  • The bible doesn't describe Satan specifically as "the most beautiful angel" but it does say that Satan was perfect in beauty, full of wisdom and adorned. Like all the other angles he was created perfectly and given a certain amount of authority. He was also given free will and because of this, inequity found it's way into him. It also says that Satan was lifted up because of his beauty, and that he corrupted the wisdom by reason of his brightness. Ezekiel 28:12-15. The reason he is portrayed as a hoved animal with horns and a tail is because Greek mythology intermixed with biblical stories centuries later. The book of Revelation also describes a red horned dragon, but the entire book of Revelation is actually a future prophecy from John and mostly figurative, not literal. Revelation describes a dragon as a representation of Satan at the end of times based on the physical attributes we assign to him, but it doesn't represent his true appearance. People unfamiliar with the bible or who misintepret scripture can easily mistake this to mean that Satan resembled the mythical beast Pan from Greek mythology.
  • I believe (and I could be mistaken) that the current image of Satan is made up of a blend of Pagan gods, from an early Christian attempt to demonize paganism. Satan has the horns of Dionysus and Pan. He has Poseidon's trident. He has hooves like Cerunnos, or possibly the Greek satyrs. This image of Satan has nothing to do with the Satan of the bible. It was simply an attempt by previous generations of Christians to demonize the Pagan gods.
  • the devil was made out to look like the pagan god "pan" to demon-ize pan and the pagans . yet another ploy to discredit another faith. add this to their false stories they spread about witch's wiccans and pagans worshiping the devil . which is totally untrue . but a common misconception.---- just a cola war tactic.
  • All angels were created beautiful...Satan too was a created angel...until he chose to disobey God and seek worship for himself...The Bible does not describe what he looked like.
  • i think satan was a beautiful angel. after all he was made by god and so lucifer had to of had been perfict. so why would he be ugly?
  • Ezekiel 28:10...‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “ ‘You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire,b turquoise and beryl.c Your settings and mountingsd were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. 14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. 15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. 16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. 17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings. 18 By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching. 19 All the nations who knew you are appalled at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.’ ”

Satan was created an angel along with all the other angels...and they appeared beautiful,,,but it was Satan's actions which made him ugly...Some serial killers are quite good looking...but good looks do not make you act good !!!
  • Read Genesis chap. 3, here it explains Satan rebelled and lost his prefect standing with God. Lucifer is not Satans name as some are saying, original Bible texts do not use this name.

  • probably because organized religion didn't want folks worshipping him, the handsome devil!! lol... but I think he would have been extremely handsome; after all, he was an angel, and there sure as hell (sorry!!) no such things as ugly angels!! and it also could be symbolic......'gee, he defied God so has to be an ugly sonofabitch, right?'...........tee hee............
  • First; please realize that the Bible teaches no such thing. HOWEVER: some people (rather clearly mistakenly) misinterpret a particular passage of the Bible, from which misinterpretation they glean the idea that Satan was at one time the most beautiful angel. Here is the passage. Note that the author very clearly (in the same verse!) identifies the subject of the passage, and that the subject is a human being (i.e. NOT Satan). • https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah%2014%3A12-14&version=KJV Read this scripture in Isaiah where God is mourning over the loss of Lucifer. The idea that the devil is an ugly red horned red skinned being is not supported by the Bible at all. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God punished Lucifer by making him ugly. The Bible says that Lucifer and his demons can transform themselves into angels of light. In other words they can change themselves into whatever they want to appear as. Lucifer was called the bright shining morning Star he was highly prized and there was many artworks from Old Time that depict Lucifer is a handsome young strong angel.
  • Lucifer was the most beautiful angel in Heaven. Ezekiel 28:12–13 tells us Satan was full of wisdom and perfect in beauty and that he was in the Garden of Eden. After being cast out of Heaven for his rebellion, he became Satan or devil. He is portrayed as a red demon by Catholic tradition. The redness indicates fire.
  • Certainly can, see Lucis Trust, as Lucifer and the Solar Angels are heading the new world religion. See links. https://www.lucistrust.org/ https://www.lucistrust.org/ https://www.lucistrust.org/about_us/history https://www.lucistrust.org/arcane_school/talks_and_articles/the_esoteric_meaning_lucifer https://www.lucistrust.org/arcane_school/talks_and_articles/descent_and_sacrifice https://blavatskytheosophy.com/lucifer-the-lightbringer/ Beware for the bible states that even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. From other things that I have read, the planet Saturn resides in Aquarius the man and Capricorn, the Goat, Saturn is sometimes equated with Satan. Saturn also exists in the darker aspects of the zodiac, April to September are the lighter months where the sun takes dominance, and October (Libra) to March are the darker, the bottom arc of the zodiac, where the darkness overcomes the light, hence Saturnalia which is Christmas. Saturn is often depicted as the god of time, and death. In the jewish religion The satan is often equated with the angel of death. The Jews acknowledged the Mazzaroth (zodiac). Also, the Baphomet, which is an androgynous being, with a goats head with solve and coagulate on it's arms. Also, in the tarot the devils card is seen as a horned figure, representing the material realm, with man and woman loosely shackled to him, suggesting man is able to slip these shackles and realise his spiritual self. The god pan, which is where pansexual comes from, was half goat and half man, depicted mans animalistic self, pan is also linked to the Horned god which is of the earth, often represented by the stag, or the goat. The bible actually describes the serpent, as the nachash, which means shining one, or enchanter. And in revelations 12:3 It describes a great red dragon, quote 3 "Then another portent appeared in heaven: a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bear a child, so that he might devour her child as soon as it was born. Now I know the bible talks about he stars being for signs of times and Draco and Serpens exists in the sky, alongside Virgo, and as you may know they believe in As Above So Below, which is why the pyramids of Egypt line up with the stars of Orion. Egypt became Rome, and Rome became the West, and now of course we are heading towards, if not there already, a global leadership, a New World Order.
