i have a cat for 10years now but i never go by cups i just let her eat till she is done, but if i had to go by cups i would maby feed her 2 up to 3times a day to make shure she was getn fool but not maken her go hungry. i hope this helps you out. =]

Feed your adult cat 1/4 cup in the a.m., and 1/4 cup in the late afternoon or evening. Half a cup each day is enough of a good quality cat food.
