I'm very sure there is much to learn about Wisconsin. The first thing coming to mind was Wisconsin Cheese. When i was little we would go on a trip for the day to Wisconsin. And the resort where we stayed had the best cheese. I crave it many times now!

Scandinavian ethnic backrounds, cheese, pastries, and the fact that the Upper Peninsula (the U.P.) is geographically part of Wisconsin, but is actually in Michigan. (Could someone explain what weird politics took place to cause that? LOL) Oh, and of course, the old Milwaukee Braves, the Brewers, the Packers, and Appleton, home of the Steelers' Rocky Blier.

The old lady who does programming for my job... she's 60-something and is nothing like what comes to mind when one thinks "programmer". She works from her home, which is a farm in Wisconsin, and she is quite a character.
