Yes, I know I did when I was in High School but I'm over that now and I'm closer to my parents
-
yes, i'd say so!
-
Yep, and they're generally right.
-
Yeah! Guilty! :-/ kids are dumb aren’t they!!!! I was!!
-
Yep part of life.
-
No, not all, but most. Believe it or not, there ars some teenagers who do not like their age-mates... I happen to have one.
-
It seems that way, especially during ones early to mid teens.
-
Oh yes. They usually go through that at some time during their youth (if not all the way through it. LOL). Sometime around ages 20 thru 23 or so most of them suddenly realize that the old man and/or old woman is pretty smart after all. ( I was 20 or 21.)
-
yeah im pretty sure but when they get older like early 20's or so i think you become cool again. LOL!!
-
Mine do - But if they'd seen me in my day, i was the godfather of cool.
-
My dad liked Star Trek and Columbo. Of course he was uncool lol. But honestly, my dad was way too left winged and hippy for me to think that he was uncool. I don't think that his 17 year old self really had ever left him, both physically and mentally. And he was a TEACHER lol. And a boozehound but yeah, that's a different story. >_>
-
Probably at some point, yes. LOL
-
Absolutely

Yes,,I Hope it Passes Soon,,,GGGGRRRRRRRRR!!!

-
At some point? I would say from 12-23
-
I think so, I remember thinking my mother was embarrassing but my friends at the time kept saying how cool she was. I never saw it. +5 Little Miss Dangerous.
-
I can't talk for every kid, I'm sure some don't, my mom always seemed cool to me :) my dad not so much though.
-
Most probably do. I did. Mine did.

si! It's funny too.... In addition to being "uncool", your things are "uncool" too. I have a son who HATED my old brown truck so bad, he would BEG me to drop him off behind the school so no one would see... Being the good Dad that I am, I never obliged. He also made fun of the clothes I wear. Now that he doesn't have someone buying him holey jeans for $60 a pair, suddenly Levi's and TShirts became just fine to work in. And he begged me to sell him the old brown truck, when he realized that he wasn't going to jump into the world driving a new hummer first year out of high school. What a suprise! Things are different when you have to work for your wares.
