• Usually, trying to get rid of a double chin using exercise is not real helpful, since it is usually fat, not weak muscles that is causing the droopy or double chin look. It might help a little, but usually not alot unless it is very small and due to atrophy of those muscles. Some people simply have extra fat there. Liposuction and cosmetic surgery can help with that. If you are overweight, losing weight will get rid of some of it, but might leave a saggy pouch, which would need to be removed by cosmetic surgery.
