• There isn't 'technically' such a thing as 'cold'. So you can't 'take' cold.
  • Ah! Yes you're right in the sense that the room heats up by the 1000J per second you put in PLUS some of the heat energy that was in the refrigerator. The heat might be better distributed by the heater.

      Some of the 1000W energy is used for motive force by the compressor and blower motors. It is also usually a maximum rating for an appliance such as a refrigerator, typical operation will use somewhat less power.
