My Rio is recognized by my computer, but it lists it as being in the H and F drives simultaneously. My music manager programs, however, don't see it anymore. When I try to reformat, it doesn't do it or says that the player is NOT in one of the drives.

Well, one thing is for sure: Your player is recognized as H and F, i.e. two drives, because the player has internal storage space and an external card storage space (flash memory or whatever). A few things you can try are: Try using a different connection port, most PCs have 4 USB ports, try each one, might work. Go to My Computer, Hardware -> Hardware list. Click on USB Periphirals or Ports (I don't really remember), and click Refresh or Find New Hardware. Try installing a different version of the drivers. Try on a different PC, perhaps the problem is in your PC, not the player.
