  • I think that the universe is, at this time, beyond our comprehension. Your reality is based purely on your perceptions. Everything is in everyone. It always was, and always will be. How do we know that this life here and now is not the first of millions of lives that we will live?
  • Let me build on GreeninRichmond's excellent answer by asking another question ... Can you prove to me, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the universe was NOT created at 6:45 AM <insert favorite time zone here> this morning (e.g., t=0), and all of our memories and collective knowledge imprinted at that precise instant? Of course, you can't. Both questions are equally interesting. Time is merely man's meager attempt to define a measurement system for sequencing events, comparing or defining durations or intervals, and quantifying the motions of objects. Time is an important subject of religious, philosophical, and scientific matters. Unfortunately, defining time, especially a quantifiable "zero point" is, in and of itself, an exercise in futility. ;-) I regret that I have but 3-points to award for your question.
