  • yes!!! that happened to me like 3 weekw after i signed up..i usually write a lot and then all of the sudden i started writing one word crappy answers..but thats over with..i hope forever
  • No. You ever get Answerbag burnout from having to find a new avatar every week?
  • Yes. Sometimes I've been on so much that I see a question I want to answer, but don't have the energy to answer it then. I save it to my favorites. (I figure it's also like doing a favor for the questioner, since the question will be revived a few days later.)
  • I get burned out by some of the crappy questions that ask for crappy answers. And, your are correct, I start giving crappy answers to real questions. I usually take a few hours, or a few days off when this happens. I have enough to do around here plus reading to do this without getting bored.
  • Yes, I have been mostly off the site for about the last month. I'm hoping now that school is back in session that the questions and answers will be more adult relatable.
  • sometimes but when this happens i usually leave becauseiknow i am no good to anyone or any question if I cannot make myself clear :)
  • yeah lol...and so i end up taking a break from it for a little while...and then when i come back it's back to normal
  • Every day..late morning or early afternoon. That's when I leave! :)
  • It hasn't happened to me yet. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones.
  • I am feeling very burnt out by Answerbag. But this says to me that I shouldn't try harder and risk losing quality in my contributions. Instead, I should take a few steps back and not force anything. It's supposed to be fun!
  • Yes. In the last couple of days I was not that active on AB because I was disillusioned by the hundreds of nonsense answers posted on this website. Well, it's time to fight back. The best way to deal with nonsense answers is to come up with good answers, and show 'em the way.
  • Yeah its happened to me for the past few months. I just can't spend my time here like I used to. Not worth it!
  • After a while I feel like I am just repeating myself over and over. Lately been doing more moderation and less answering hoping to get back in the groove.
  • yes and I haven't spent nearly as much time answering as I used to. lately it seems that when I do come up with a good answer, the asker will literally tell me that my answer was not good enough for them or didn't answer their question (and it did) or they tell me that my answer was not what they wanted to hear.. so it's frustrating..to spend time sharing answers only to be told ..actually told that my answers are worthless. I have noticed a lot of "repeat" questions and questions on things I am not interested in like sports, etc. and the TON of homework questions which I will NOT answer if I know it's HW (and most are not smart enough yet to make it NOT so obvious they are HW). This site is reminding me some of YA.. a lot of childish nonsense questions and being overrun with "am I pregnant questions" .. why in the world don't they buy a pregnancy test and see.
  • difficult to come up with words for good answers? fjsoai wqerij wq[ifjoi wqwofqoi owfqwji qwfoi043-0]. well, maybe sometimes.
  • Yes, all the times.Like this answer.
  • That happens to me a lot. It used to happen like clockwork, every two months or so, but now it seems to just happen randomly. It depends a lot on how much shit I have to put up with here.
  • I hope to be like that when I am dead. My mind is constantly going and analyzing things....
  • Yes, I currently feel a little burnt out here. I'm getting bored with questions on the home page that are redundent, nonsense or dupicates. I need to go through friends questions, that will help.
  • no cause i am a new user but i think if it was happening i would try not to nswaer to avoid wasting peoples time
  • a little, but its fun commenting with friends.
  • yeah totally.and i just recently joined answer bag so i could imagine the people who have been on here for a very long time.lol
