Never fear, superstition is just that, superstition. I mean, a Superstition is the irrational belief that future events are influenced by specific behaviors. There is no proof anything bad will happen, so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you

You should be ok, except having to replace it. I personally do not believe in superstitions. I hope you did not cut yourself!

If you believe you will have bad luck you will, if you believe you will have good luck you will, it's all in your belief.

Usually, things considered bad luck have their roots in situations where it truly is bad to do it. For example, walking under ladders is dangerous, and whistling at a theatre stage could have caused the tech guy to drop a sandbag on you. Breaking a mirror is also dangerous, but it's not bad luck, it's just not good to have shards of glass all over the place. Once my sister broke a mirror and she put it back together and kept it on her bedside, and when I picked it up while laying down, the glass almost hit my eye. I avoid her now. (Unlike random events, certain people can be bad luck!)

if you put significance in a careless event in your life, you would not be able to sleep..

this is called a self-fulfilling prophecy..

the more you think things like that will happen, the more likely it will.. and "IT" happening is because you were expecting it to happen..

so the best advice is to realize that there is no such thing as bad luck.. but BAD choices..

think happy.. and you will see more happy things..

think sad.. you will only notice the bad things
