I put a new compressor and accumulator/drier, 2 ounces of Pag oil. I'm torn between using the Duracool or R134 . I keep getting mixed feedbacks from online forums both positive and negative. Anyone got feedback on Duracool?

Your converting your system from r-12....cool...hopefully...Ha Ha..Make sure you flush all the lines and componants..they make a flush chemical for this..also, you may have to change your orfice tube also..to work correctly for the different gas..I'm not familar with duracool, but r134a is the most common used today..so if i were you I would use this for two reasons, one, its common..2 it can be serviced anywhere..and most likely the expensive compressor you just bought is designed to run it..Jasper
