  • Bathtub. It's a warm, moist, enclosed, womb-like environment where you can be alone and not be distracted by anything.
  • Well, mine is the Guildhall, but if you don't live in Portsmouth, UK I guess you can't sit in front of that. So mine is my hallway. There is nothing in it, no furniture, now windows, no noise, no distractions. It really lets you think
  • We have a spare bedroom which I've outfitted for meditation, which is part of my regular daily practice. This isn't really "sitting and thinking", but more "sitting and being aware of stuff, including thinking". There's a big window to my left and the morning sun comes in through the trees, lighting the room up with all sorts of green and gold shades. The smoke from the incense swirls around in delicate and elaborate dances, and I usually leave the window partway open to hear the birds, the kids playing at the school up the street, the trains in the distance, and the swooshing hum of traffic several blocks away. Paradise, basically.
  • I love just being alone to think, I go for walks but really love to sit way out in the woods and watch nature and mellow out and just relax and think.
