  • because most of the humour makes fun of other people, i'd say it has helped facilitate the lack of respect for others and authorities. And it has entrenched sarcasm as an acceptable response.
  • People rarely pay attention to the good of things. It's always the bad. I don't blame anything on violent video games or TV shows or songs. I blame it on the person's stupidity. People should take responsibility for their actions.
  • That is simple. We live in a society where no one takes responsibility for their actions. We have become a people of excuses. We have excuses to deflect our behavior. No one owns up to what they do.

  • The type of comedy you see influences people because people are more sarcastic and more into certain kinds of comedy after seeing it so often on TV. How many 'redneck' jokes do you think people would be repeating if they hadn't seen it on TV? People mirror what they see, hear, feel, and think about. If it wasn't so, why would anyone worry at all about advertising on TV and radio or magazines. They do affect many people. Everything we 'take in' has some affect. It's feeding the brain
