  • As long as the new card is present in the PC, the old one can not be used. When you remove the new one, then the old one is automatically enabled.
  • can only have one or the other, just as VS suggested.
  • The integrated onboard VGA card has two BIOS configuration options : [Auto] and [Enabled]. When set to [auto] it allows BIOS to automatically detect the onboard VGA and the external graphics card (EGC) if installed. Under this setting, the EGC has higher priority over the onboard VGA and the onboard VGA is disabled. If no EGC is detected, the onboard VGA is automatically enabled. When set to [Enabled] the onboard VGA is enabled and any EGC, even if present, is ignored. To sum up, you cannot have both at the same time. In order to use your integrated one, enter BIOS and select [Enabled] from the onboard VGA option but you will not be able to use your new graphics card.
  • unless your pc is fairly new 6 months old you probably can't use both
  • you can not use both at the same time. If you want the dual monitor support see if your video card supports that. http://techguysl.blogspot.com
