  • Your cat is suffering from separation anxiety. She missed you. Putting her in isolation may have been a bit extreme. If at all possible, go visit your cat at her new home from time to time until she has gotten used to her new owner and new home.
  • Did you send anything "familiar" along with her? Her bed, a favorite pillow/afghan/sweater..something she could dive into and be comforted by or did you just send her off all by herself and put her in a strange place with strange people and nothing familiar? :(
  • oh I need a cat like that. Seems like I can't find an electric fabric shredder.
  • By not putting her in isolation. Cats *hate* that.
  • How did it all turn out...how long did the socialization take? I can believe the shredding...my cat will chew through plastic to get to food, and those toy furry mice...he has them down to the plastic in about 45 seconds. I guess some felines are just extremely oral?
  • You'd get bored and pissed off if you were locked up in a tiny room too. Let her out.
