because people have differents opinions and views on different subjects and therefore will react in their own way when confronted with these.

Upbringing, past experiences, cultural differences... too many conditions to mention. I guess the easiest way is to say, everyone is different. Which is why psychology is such a hard topic.

because people like to think they are poor, picked on, unfortunate souls. we're all capable of reacting in effective, proficient ways so i do not understand the logic behind psychic vampirism. people all too often throw emotional weight around when there is absolutely no reason for it. we like to think we've come to a decision ourself, so we react in any possible way to make it so, even if it's not. we like to let people think we are unpredictable, even if they are right, we react in spite to have "the last word". it's a constant endeavor to prove we are "unique" and "different" than our fellow man, but the truth is we all use the exact same tools to come to these decisions. the only unique quality humans have is their will. most people refuse to acknowledge they are in control of themself. it's easier that way.
