It depends on what you mean by radically different. Normally, I would keep quiet. I am not the type to instigate and start fights or humilate people but in the case that the raidcally different part of them just so happend to be something horrible... like they were a serial killer or something worse, then I might open my mouth. It wouldn't make a lot of difference either way. I mean, a lot of people say a lot of things on the internet and it is at your discretion to believe any of it. Usually I don't believe a lot of the things I hear, and assuming a lot of people are like it, it wouldn't have much of an effect to put it out there.

Well, that would mean: RFlagg would be a 30 year old business man, who fits in with everyone and hates photography Satine is the most popular girl ever on the face of the earth, and basically be Paris Hilton Mr Mclister would be an extreme christian! If I found out any of them were like that, I'd be disappointed, but what they portray is up to them, not me. If they want to pretend, I'd leave it. continued... Jodie44 would be absolutly crap at answering questions and George Bush's biggest fan AntigoneRising would have a seveer hatred of cats Half the people on this site would be members of the I hate Johnny Depp club Many of the people on this site would find arm hair extremely unattractive and run around waxing everybodies arm hair off. Superpanda2 would despise YouTube more than anything else in the world. SakhalinskiiIn would stop asking some of the weirdest and most disturbing questions All the anonymous's would be famous, and therefore not anonymous at all Tom-N would be the biggest supporter, if not chairman of the BNP party *shudder* Carmella would be a nasty evil cow Sunblynd would be some cocky prat so far up their own backside they'd get stuck Auntie Em would be the worst auntie in the world HungryGuy would be full up Bob Baylock would hate fork lift trucks xXEmoXx would be some happy preppy kid who loves everything Web2Con would not be annoying in any way Psychade would be the happiest little teapot going Davoomac would have no wisdom and no thirst for wisdom, and sit alone, with a slight middleage spread and a beer all day on his couch watching the Jerry Springer Show Scubabob would hate diving Darkling would have about as much intelligance as a used plaster. Yes, plasters lose intelligence once used! LynfromNM would hate basketball Darryl61 would burn cars for a living Cazhead would lack all knowledge about the weird and wonderful, and become a boring sod! Thats all I can think of for now!

If this person's answers on AB are solid - in other words, their deception about their personal life isn't hurting anyone, keep it to yourself. As to your relationship with this person, if the "real" person is still someone you enjoy and the reason behind the deception is something you can understand, keep enjoying the friendship!
-
Don't ask me why I'm bothering here. BAM has 23 points and the pile-on hasn't even started yet. Sigh. Ok, obviously I would keep their secret unless it was something that endangered someone else. If possible, I would try to engage them in a conversation about whatever has them maintain an alternate "public identity", this generally means that their "true identity" is something they haven't been able to come to terms with. This person won't be happy until they resolve their dark secret, so the proper service-oriented approach is to try to turn their head in that direction. There, a serious answer. Now where's the rest of the dirty jokes?

Keep quiet.

I'd be quiet.

Not give a f*** less it's the internet for a reason.
-
Just end the relationship, then do as you please. +2

You're on the Internet. Figure: - everyone is lying - everyone is male You'll be a lot safer.
-
I don't believe in friendships through the internet. So I wouldn't care. Besides "Everyone is lying". ... unless this person is some kind of criminal, i.e. murder, stealing, rape, child molesting, etc.

Like this. If what they have told you is offensive, dump their ass. If what they have told you is not, shut the heck up and honor their wishes. If what they have told you endangers someone else, notify AB. Simple stuff.
