The Bible is full of different stories, meaning that the books don't have to be in the order in which the events occured. It is completely unnecessary to read as though you were a scholar in order to get alot out of it. You can skip to whatever books you care to peruse at any given time.

I DO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS TRUE.

There are over 130 different types of Bible. How can you believe a book with so many different versions? I wouldn't bother. lol

ignore all that...if you want to draw closer to God...HE will help you understand... it is in order enough that you will get the GIST of it all... the Bible is not a Book that can be understood by reading like a novel...even the best of Gods teachers today learn something or see in a different light.... just be open minded and know HE had a PURPOSE for every action, every verse.... i understand ...it is confusion, it is a hinderance.... do it for yourself..and be grateful you can..

I do understand what you are talking about. Here is a link to the bible, which makes it much easier to read. I hope you enjoy reading the bible here, it is much easier to understand. Good Luck→ http://hall4bc04.org/The_Bible.htm

Start in the book of John and let that soak. If it doesn't compute, read it again. Then read it again until it registers to you that Jesus is who He says He is.

sure, i understand...do you

You can pick up a Bible and just read it front to back, it's no problem. However if you choose to read it chronologically, yeah, you have to follow a reading plan.
