After seeing the way some people fail to use common sense when raising their children, do you tend to think to yourself that some people just shouldn't be parents?

Yes, I do think some people should not be parents. Parenthood doesn't come with a book and no one knows what they're in for, so if your just having a child because you "can" that kids going to suffer big time. I worked in a school for years. You would not believe the people I came across just dragging up their kids, it is sad.

I monitor post-conviction relief appeals for the Supreme Court in my state. I know how terribly people can treat their children, all too often resulting in death of said child. Yes, absolutely, I think there are some people who should never, ever have children. In the same argument, I think there any too many people who desperately want children and cannot have them. Too bad we can't arrange a trade-off between those who have them and can't love them and those who want to love them and can't have them.

I think that all the time. I see it at work everyday. I wish they could give an IQ test to people an neuter the one's who don't score high enough.

yeah i think that often, it seems to me that parents nowadays tend to worry way too much about money and other things first, they work too much and spend small amounts of time with their kids so they try to make it up by allowing the kids to do whatever they want. i think that there should be a balance and boundaries for the children, so yeah i think some just should be parents.

yes, and my goal as a social worker will be to help prevent those people from getting ahold of kids they don't deserve

Yes it is a shame. I want to shout from roof tops "if you have children your life is no longer about you!" People need to let go of their high school drama lives and give their children stability.
