I think some of it does. Usually the package will tell you, so just read it :)
-
None that I have ever seen. I think it is shark meat.
-
No..thus the name artificial. It is usually a mild fish such as pollock, whiting or cod that has artificial crab flavoring added to it.
-
No, it's just fish
-
Artifical means fake. Thus zero crab content. They should spell it Krab.
-
My understanding is that it is salmon.
-
UMMM. No. Hence the name artificial meaning not real. It may be another animal called Pollock.
-
It has real artificial crab meat in it;)

People should be careful about answering questions they don't know the correct answer for....Imitation Crab has natural and/or fake crab flavoring in it...if it has natural flavoring (which it often does), it still has enough crab in it to give someone w/ a shellfish allergy an allergic reaction, so please don't assume that imitation crab does not have crab in it.

NO
-
its usually made from alaskan pollock...i found this website http://ask.yahoo.com/20030110.html
-
No. It's called "Surimi" and it's made of poor quality white fish like Pollock and Hake, plus a large percentage of water, starch, monosodium glutamate and flavorings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surimi
-
http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-imitation-crab.htm I used to work in a fish plant that made Surimi which is one of the ingredients in artificial crab. I have never know them to put real crab in it. If you are allergic to crab however check it out further. Don't go by the answers you are getting on here so far.

-
