I think his name is Nicolas Sarkozy

Not a great deal but he has a great wife.

I disagree with a lot of his polices, namely, his legislation against the inheritance tax, his employment of various tax breaks for the rich without reducing state spending, and his giving up on the tradition of pardoning prisoners on Bastille Day. All of those are bound to come back to bite the French people at some point. Also, there's the fact that he doesn't seem to adverse to censorship when it suits him, and his apparent opposition to maintaining separation of church and state in France, paint a pretty clear picture of him as someone I disagree with.

I disagree with many of his conservative, anti social choices. I find him very interesting as person, particularly through his family background: father Hungarian immigrant, mother from French Catholic and Greek Jewish descent. Note that the only French component is actually from Savoy: Savoy was absorbed into France as late as in 1860. I find also that he has managed to bring some change in French politics, and has some visions. I approve some of his projects, such as his engagement for the Union for the Mediterranean.

I think he loves himself too much, and takes himself as too much of a celebrity. The power is going to his head already.
