I cant play videos on face book, it tells me i need to download the new version of flash player, which i do. it says download successful. I have enabled all the security settings on internet options and restarted computer, i still cant play videos

I imagine that what you have downloaded is an executable file that you will have to find and run in order to install the new version.

I don't know how much computer knowledge I can offer, but I think Brian is probably right. I have a folder on my desktop where I send all my downloads, so I can find them and install them. Maybe that will help. Also, are you using a proxy? A lot of proxies won't let you view Flash animations. Good luck!

Facebook has been recently getting allot of worms, which come as a flashplayer.exe file. I would go to http://housecall.antivirus.com and use the online scanner to make sure you didn't pickup the worm. If you did download and install the flash player file from facebook, I highly suggest you use an alternate antivirus scanner. This worm is very new and will bypass your current scanner without too much trouble.
