  • What annoys me are spam/offensive questions :)
  • Honestly, I don't think that little suffix makes a question annoying in and of itself. If a question is annoying, three words won't make the difference. And really, I find questions that make allowances like "if so why" preferential to those questions that stay more rhetorical and ask for no explanation.
  • No. I like them. Just knowing whether someone says X or Y is not nearly as interesting as knowing the why - the rationale - the experiences upon which opinion is based.
  • Yes. (Aren't you gonna ask my why?) Know what burns my ass? A flame about 2 feet high yo...:)=(
  • I get annoyed by the ones like "what's your favorite food? Why?" The reason that it annoys me is there's only one asnwer to the "why" - because you like the taste. Why else would something be your favorite food??? I'm not annoyed by the ones like "Are you voting for McCain/Obama? Why?" because there are a million different possible reasons why someone would choose between those two.
  • I'm sure many other people do, but I haven't yet.
  • Not really. It's the pointless (unhelpful) questions I don't like. That's one of the reasons I don't spend as much time here anymore.
  • I don't remember finding any of those questions annoying, although I think I have left a flippant answer to some of them. That part implies to me that there's a an explanation or a reason for the answerer's reply and I can usually give one. However, I would probably state that request as something like, "If you think that there's a reason why, what would it be?" E.g., if someone asked, "Are you more than 60 years old? If so, why?" I could answer, "Yes, because I was born in 1946". :p If I couldn't think of a reason I'd say something like, "Research pending". ;)
  • Meh. I think people have gotten too easily annoyed with some of the things here on AB, myself included..
  • Doesn't bug me... they want to know why...
  • Not at all. I find I have to do that a lot or I tend to just get a yes or no answer. Pretty much the only time I ask a question is when I really want to know the answer or an opinion. Not just "what do you eat for breakfast". No offense to anyone who has asked that but I would never ask it because I am really not interested.
