If I had to choose from those two, San Francisco.
-
I've been to New York but never Los Angeles, so I couldn`t really decide. But I could definitely say that I would not be able to live in New York City. Way too stressful and full of people for me.
-
los angeles...well actually just a little north of LA...i'm a cali girl..what can i say? i'd have to go to santa barbara...
-
I would move to New York. It's so much fun to be in, plus I have a family member on bad terms with me that lives near Los Angeles.
-
New York in a heartbeat. I have no desire to move anywhere near LA.
-
Nope ...I grew up in California ,LA ....and I voluntarily chose to move out from there .
-
The place so nice, they named it twice.
-
I've been to neither, but NYC appeals to me.
-
I wouldn't choose. Both cities are too big for me. Are we under martial law now?
-
I am all about sun and fun! It's LA for me. :) You are more than welcome to visit. :)
-
I would choose NYC because it would put me closer to my parents and sister.
-
I L.A.
-
New York City. I enjoy seasons!
-
Oh, ok... That's not too far from NYC.
-
I mean no offense to anyone, but, I must say neither. Unless it's a matter of life and death, it's never gonna happen !
-
I have been to both and out of the two I would pick L.A.
-
Take your pick: New York, Texas http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York,_Texas Los Angeles, Texas http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_Subdivision%2C_Texas New York has a population of 20. Los Angeles has a population of 86.
-
I don't think I could ever leave California, so I guess it would be L.A., even though I'm not the biggest fan of SOCAL. =]
-
I live just 40 miles from LA and even though there are soooooo many things wrong with Southern California, we have just about the best consistently good weather anywhere in the world. I love New York to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.
-
New York. Less travel time back to Canada. Enough said.
-
If I *HAD* to choose.... New York. The devil you know is better than the devil you don't. And I'm not fond of the idea of earthquakes.
-
That is really a tough question... I liked LA (loved Oceanside)... I also like the New York state's mountains and forest... (I wouldn't have to STAY in the cities on the weekends, would I?) I'm just an old country boy, but I guess I'm going to choose LA... You just have to promise to get me out on the weekends.
-
New York. I want to move back there one day anyway. Greenwich Village ftw.
-
NYC, it's a fun city. I've been here almost a year now, moved here for school. No smog, I don't have to worry about transportation, and contrary to popular belief the people aren't mean and nasty. It's just the opposite, they're a bit shy and reserved - but very considerate and kind. The BBC did a study two years ago, and NYC ranked as one of the "nicest" cities. Mumbai/Bombay was the "meanest" city (by Western standards, of course, so it is skewed).
-
NEW YORK! Oh yeah...:)
-
Nope. I already live in Hell Anus and our next move is to UPstate, NY. :p On second thought, because of unmitigated urban sprawl, the northern suburbs of NY metro are actually in Connecticut, so maybe. ;)
-
NYC
-
New York, I could go upstate for the weekends to get out of the city.
-
LA - its warmer there, i hate the snow in winter lol.........
-
I'll live in California
-
Los Angeles. I would like to maybe experience an earthquake. I would not want to move to NYC because I don't like it there.
-
New York City is my kind of place, and I've always preferred the East coast to the West coast.
-
New York. LA isn't my kind of town. Too much plastic.
-
Probably New York!
-
Los Angeles. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and Malibu beach, all my family is there. It's not so bad if you can breathe the air once in awhile. Escape is really easy in LA, much more so than in NY, too.
-
new york cuzz it has better society
-
Los Angeles, I wish I had to choose!
-
LA
-
New York City. I live in New York and my friend who moved lives close to there.
-
L.A. it's close to home, but I hate the traffic.
-
I wouldn't choose either, even though they're both GREAT cities, just because of all the congestion, traffic, pollution, and noise. But since this question requires me to choose... I'll say L.A. because it's sunny 10-11 months of the year.
-
Maybe Los Angeles..
-
New Yawk. You gonna share a loft with me?
-
NYC in a New York minute. LA, in my opinion, is evil incarnated.
-
I could live in certain parts of LA if I had to. In fact, I have done. I lived in the Los Angeles area in the middle 1960's. No way would I ever live in N Y. I hate snow! http://english.people.com.cn/200501/25/eng20050125_171835.html
-
its GOTTA BE NY if i had to do it over again forget LA, that polluted, cop infested city of hatred and heat... newyork is where it started at ;)
-
NYC is the best! LA has too much smog and worse traffic, thanks to having no mass transit system to speak of...
-
NYC definatly!
-
The City Of Angels. I am homeless and I had to work hard like a lumber jack to survive Nashville's winter. I am too lazy to fight winter every 5 months of a year.
-
Los Angeles. The weather is better and it's less crowded. The beach is warm enough too. It's also less expensive to live in LA.
-
I'll stick to the East Coast. Better pizza also :-)
-
New York upstate
-
NY, LA is too estranged from reality. And yes the food sucks. Both are dangerous now.
-
Neither
-
I don't want to live in either city as I'm not a city person. I grew up in a suburb of L.A. and I've had it with cities. I'm a country girl at heart, the wilderness would be even better and my husband feels the same way. We love it quiet and secluded, with nature all around us. We don't need many things that the city has, rather living simply is our style.
-
I am not a city person and never want to live in one again, but if I had to choose one I would go with New York City.
-
New York City I always wanted to live there, if only for a little while.
-
Neither.
-
Neither. I would rather live in Chicago if I had to live in a US city. I would pick NY out of the 2 you asked about.
-
Neither, Both of those cities are too crowded. I like it a little less crowded in the burbs or even better a simple country life style.
-
well i live in nyc so
-
New York.
-
Neither.
-
I would like to live in LA.I used live there not far from Glendale, and the valley. It was a fun city and maybe one day I will return to live.
-
Probably Los Angeles
-
Obviously new york, LA sounds more crowded. I know the michael jackson memorial is there and the lakers play but Newyork has a lot of attractions like rockefeller center, museums, buildings. Overall NYC seems kooler :)
-
Los Angeles. I've been there many times and know my way around. dont know a thing about New York.
-
LA and I would find myself a nice modern hippie community to live in.
-
Definitely NYC. It prefers me to LA. LA didn't hate me but NYC is def. more comfortable with me.
-
I live in Los Angeles but I would love to move to the Big Apple any day!!!!
-
I already moved to LA, what can I say my girlfriend lives there so easy choice ;)
