You will need to know these few things for planning. These should help you out for starting the planning process. Feel free to comment/ask questions about what to do. -Budget: How much money do you have to spend on equipment? -Time: When does the network need to be activated? -Security: Should there be limited access to different parts of the network? Which groups are allowed access to what part? Do all clients need internet access or a limited few? -Size: How many clients (PC's, Printers, Servers etc...) will be in each department? Will there be growth?
