Yes, one of the common results of smoking is damage to the skin. At 16, if you were to stop now and not smoke again (at all) you would probably notice a change within six weeks or less. However, if you continue to smoke the damage will be forever.

WHEN you quit drink lots of water daily and exfoliate. It will help

Your skin looks nasty because your body is trying to release the poisonous toxins from smoking out though the skin. If you stop smoking and take some vitamin E pills your skin will look so much better. Take care of you!!! And good luck quitting.

You are crazy to think that you can get away with smoking. Drop the habit. Forget about it's effect on your skin. What about the rest of your body? Lungs, heart, even sex drive are affected by smoking. Kick it. Be strong and smart. You don't need to imitate your girlfriends.

My husband, my ex-husband, and several of my friends got together and talked me into trying to quit. They made a sort of family circle around me, held hands, held me tight in the middle and chanted "Quit!! Quit!! Quit!!" I stopped smoking immediately and I haven't lit a cigarette since. These were my real friends and my husband proved his love once again by getting us all together. I can tell you that I felt better after a few days, and even better now. I look better, I am in better shape, and I can climb six flights of stairs without breathing heavily.

I doubt you would be seeing symptoms like that already, even if you have been smoking for a few years. BUT those are things that happen to smokers. If this 'aging' you speak of really is from smoking, it will not go away. You can always do right by your skin by upping your water intake.
