Let it be, let it be. Its their choice.

If you have that much faith in scripture/god/christ then it shouldn't matter what someone else thinks. Not everyone in this world is into what you're into, get over it.

Irritated. If someone has a REAL question that they are curious about, then Ill try to answer it the best I can. If someone just posts something just hoping it will stump Christians, I get frustrated. I dont go around saying. "Hey Athiests, what do you have to say about THIS?" or "Shouldnt Satanists be smart enough to know that what they beleive in is fake?" ... I accept the fact that people beleive different things, and would like people to accept the fact that I beleive in Christ. Its not too much to ask. ~+~

I feel very defensive - but that is not a biblical response. I've been accused of being self-righteous and I have had to pray for forgiveness that my reactions may have caused someone to harden their heart further. We are supposed to know the bible and our faith well enough that we can defend it without feeling defensive. We need to respond but not to react. I'm working on that, lol. God is all powerful, just, holy, divine, merciful - He is an awesome God! We are no better or more worthy of His loving mercy than the worst criminal or most nasty mouthed blasphemer - we shouldn't judge lest we be judged. Just remembering that can humble our hearts. We are to be in this world but not part of it. Most of the world is full of darkness and enjoying "sin for a seaon" - they don't yet understand how dangerous a game they are playing when they mock God. Christ said while being tortured and crucified "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do." HE forgave those who were persecuting Him so we should too. God knows the hearts of men, we only know what they show us but God knows who they really are - He can change their hearts, draw them to Him by the Holy Spirit. We just need to stay strong in our own faith and give the good news to all who will listen - but we are also allowed to just walk away from anyone who will not listen....and leave them in God's hands. We witness, God saves. Noone can come to Christ unless He is drawn by the Holy Spirit. So once that burden is off of us, we are free to just feel sorry for the poor lost souls that haven't accepted God yet. And as hard as it can be to do sometimes, we should pray for them. Just that obedient act of praying for those who hurt us or insult our faith is freeing. Peace fills our hearts and all bitterness, resentfulness, anger, and defensiveness just vanish. (1 Peter 3:15) "But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." (Titus 1:9) "He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it."
