Not crazy at all! Sounds like a good plan to me. Imagine, if you're not hungry enough to eat all your dinner, at least you've gotten to the good stuff. :-D

My wife and I don't have kids, so we do it often.

Once a year, in June, my mother has Sundae Sunday... and once a year we have backwards day. On backwards day the food looks like dessert and the desert is made to look like food and you eat them dessert first. Sundae Sunday: Dinner IS an ice cream sundae... My mom is a very strange and wonderfully fun person.
