It depends on the circumstances. If a woman is well adjusted emotionally and just likes to have a lot of sex..... she may be considered "playful". If a woman is having sex for money to buy drugs.....she may be a "slut".

I think it partially depends on how many over a period of time, partially depends on how it happens and partially depends on how habitual it is. If she regularly hooks up with guys for one night and never sees *any* of them again, I'd say slut. (IMO, exchange of money makes the switch to whore). On the other hand, if there's an open relationship/polyamory/swinging going on and all parties involved are okay with this? Not a slut.

I think what consitutes a "slut" isn't the amount of partners she's had but if they engage in sexual acts for monitary gain.
