If you plan to move to can you take along all your medical info: or history with you? Or do you have to have them send all your personal records it to your new Doctor?

Your medical records belong to you. If you request a copy they must give you everything. They can take time doing it, but it belongs to you. That is why you must sign a release to have it sent to anyone else if you wanted.

Absolutely..It is your history..Sometimes they may charge you a fee depending on what info they have.My wife and I moved from Hawaii and she had a CAT scan for cancer. We had to pay for a copy of the disk. Apparently they need to keep copies of your records for some time in regards to liability issues that could crop up.
