It does not matter how old you are... I know some people who are not mature enough in their mid 20's to take that step... I also know people who did at 19 and it is the best thing that they could have done 20 years ago.

I agree withpittfnz. Age is not that important it is the maturity level of the individual and whether or not they can handle the situation. Although I think 18 would be a good start since only a minority would be mature enough prior to 18

in hawaii and arkansas the legal age is 13 with parents` permission and is often encouraged... tells ya somethin, about those states, dont it

A marriage is nothing more than a detailed contract. Thus, the age should be whatever the age of consent in your jurisdiction is. Everyone why says that people mature at different rates is correct, but that does not address the issue. There is no way to individually asses every person, so they only system that works is to pick an age in which most people are considered mature enough. That age should be at least 18 (since before that people are still in grade school).

21 but i think they should get married at later age like 24 or 25 even 26 it should work, more experienced
